Sometimes what we do is about making animals look pretty and smell good. Sometimes what we do is improve an animal's quality of life. We had a special visitor today. He is a rescue and found his new furever family. He just needed a little polish and shine! We worked with him this morning and got him all scrubbed up and cut down. He was ready for his nap with his daddy when he was all done. His family almost didn't recognize him! You're the bestest boy, Buddy!!! You deserve all of the scritchens and snacks!!!

Did you know....?

We do puppy grooms! It is super important to expose your pup to the sights, sounds, smells and experience of going to the groomer. D-Tail Your Dog will take our time with your puppy, take them through the steps of grooming, and help them to understand and even like the grooming process. Today Ms. Blueberry joined us for a puppy spa day! She learned about brushes, nail clippers, the bath, the dryer, clippers and shears! Now, we didn't do anything fancy. Honestly, we barely trimmed a hair! But Ms. Blueberry now knows what to expect (including the snuggles and kisses). We can't wait to see you next time!

We had a sleepy visitor from Cuddle Cat today!

New cat Smokey needed a good shave to remove all the mats pulling on his skin ❤️‍🩹

He’s not happy about his situation, but hopefully he’ll warm up to us now that he’s not in pain! 🙏

Thank you to D-tail your dog for getting him in so fast. They did a great job. And thank you to Dr. Jodi Markle for sedating him to make the process more comfortable!

P.S. She wasn't done yet in the photo. We just couldn't wait to take a pic!

Are you a multi-dog household? Does the idea of loading up your rowdy bunch give you anxiety? Maybe you only have one dog, but he or she is energetic and the idea of unloading that dog on a busy road terrifies you!

Seriously, ME, TOO!!! The idea of a dog slipping a collar or lead keeps me up at night.

Did You Know...?

D-Tail Your Dog grooms for local celebrities? Meet Heidi! She is THE MOST POPULAR resident at Pleasant View Assisted Living. Everywhere she goes, EVERYONE always checks in on her, and she checks right back! If you see her in the hallway, she is cetain to say HELLO! When we picked her up today, everyone knew that she was going to get her bath. When she returned, she took a walk around the grounds to show off her new 'do and bandana. Thank you, Heidi, for being a bright light in our community!!!

Guess what day it is?!?!?! It's the first Thursday of the month! That means that D-Tail Your Dog spent their day at NEMO Humane Society giving the pups a nice little spa day! We had a great time and got in some pretty AMAZING snuggles! Pictured you will see Maylie with Clyde, Trinity with Thayer, and Brian with Bonnie. All of these pawsome dogs are available for adoption.
