The tin-roofed home has four upstairs bedrooms, a downstairs bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and family room. Visitors may also enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding country scenery from the wraparound porch or strolling down the lane

Guests can also enjoy hiking, walking, birding, cycling and the outdoors as they enjoy walking near spring-fed ponds, wonderful woodlands and beautiful hillsides and meadows - the ideal place for bird watching and wildlife viewing. Nearby Hancock, MD, is rich with canal activities, dining, antique stores, bicycling and railroad history. Just across the Potomac River is Berkeley Springs, WV, known for country dining, unique shops, spas and town browsing. Rental rates for the farmhouse are $200 per night plus taxes for 1-4 people (2 night minimum) and one-time $100 cleaning fee. Additional fees for those wishing to bring their own horse for the "Bed & Barn" stay is $25 per horse per night. (Non-Equine pets and smoking are not permitted.).
