Bluebird Gap Farm, located in Hampton, VA - Gov, has supported CK program participants since our COACH program! With work experiences available in animal care and landscaping, the Farm has hosted CK READY participants for a whopping 1,551 hours of experience - not including the hours spent by COACH participants! The commitment of the Farm's team to providing experiences that build a more inclusve community is evident, and we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported CK stakeholders along the way.

Thank you for all of your hard work Jayden! You have been a fun part of the Bluebird team

Jayden has completed internships at animal care-focused worksites at Bluebird Gap Farm and Willow Woods Equine Sanctuary & Farm, and most recently made huge strides by interacting with and ultimately riding a horse! It's safe to say that as Jayden makes his way in the world, he's going to do so with a "can-do attitude" and big smile on his face. The world is yours to master after graduation, Jayden - you can accomplish anything!

Last week, Morris the Turtle was unveiled at the Bluebird Gap Farm Birthday event. He was painted, stuffed with plastic and trash, and mounted by one of our own Master Naturalists. Make sure to check him out next time you're on the farm!🐢💚
