Happy 8th annual Make A Dog’s Day! 🧡 Today, Subaru and shelters across the country are celebrating the dogs who are still waiting for their forever homes. And what better way to make a dog’s day than by giving one a loving family of their own?

Here at SASF, we’re filled with dogs of every age: easygoing adults, sweet seniors, pups who are pretty much perfect, and pups who just need a little extra love to learn how to be a dog. 🫶 No matter their story, every one of them deserves a forever home. Visit SASF.org  to read more about each of these pups and today!

We are proud and thankful to partner with Subaru of America & Riverhead Bay Subaru

The face of a dog who got his happily ever after!🧡

You might remember him as Teddy, but these days, he goes by Sonny and he’s living his best life! There’s nothing quite like seeing one of our former residents settle into a home of their own. His family even made a page for him! Sonny

We’re so thankful Sonny’s family chose to adopt, and we hope his story inspires you to open your heart to a shelter dog, too! We have so many incredible dogs waiting for a family to call their own, and each one deserves a happy ending just like Sonny’s. Visit SASF.org to meet your new best friend.
