The pasture just got a lot more lively! 🌾✨

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of seven new rescues: one magnificent bull and a spunky herd of six goats! 🐂+🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐

They arrived safely and are currently exploring their new forever home. We can already tell this crew is going to bring so much joy (and mischief!) to the sanctuary.

As a non-profit, adding seven large mouths to feed overnight is a big undertaking. If you can spare the cost of a bale of hay or a bag of feed to welcome them, we—and they—would be incredibly grateful!

Update: Building a Safer Sanctuary for our new arrivals! 🐮🐐✨️

We are absolutely blown away by the generosity of this community! Thanks to your incredible support and the donations that have poured in, we were able to purchase heavy-duty, secure gates. This is a massive win for our upcoming arrivals—it means our new bull and the seven goats will have the freedom to roam and explore their new home safely and securely from the moment they step off the trailer.
Seeing these projects come to life is a reminder that we aren't doing this alone. Your kindness is literally building the walls (and gates!) that keep these animals safe.

We’re not quite at the finish line yet!
While the gates are a huge milestone, we are still working hard to secure the rest of our "Welcome Home" wishlist to ensure the barn is fully prepared:

Round Hay Feeder: To keep the new crew well-fed and reduce waste.

Lumber/Wood: We still need materials to finish building the custom pens for the goats’ dedicated sleeping quarters.

If you’ve been looking for a way to make a tangible difference in the lives of these eight souls, we would love your help to get these last few projects over the line. Every contribution, no matter the size, goes directly into the wood, nails, and feed that make this sanctuary possible.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms out there—both the two-legged and the four-legged variety! 🌸

Today, we are also celebrating the incredible mothers we have here at the farm. From the gentle patience of our hens to the protective nature of our mama pigs, we see the beauty of motherhood in so many different forms every single day.

Being a mother isn't just about biology; it’s about the heart, the nurturing, and the fierce dedication to keeping those around you safe and loved. We feel so honored to provide a peaceful home where these beautiful souls can simply be moms and enjoy life with their little ones (and their farm family) by their side.

Whether you’re a dog mom, a pig mom, a human mom, or a caregiver to those in need, we hope your day is filled with as much love as you give to the world.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Webster Family Farm and Rescue Inc. 🌷

Heartbroken 💔

It has taken us months to find the strength to sit down and write this. Our hearts are incredibly heavy as we share the news that we had said goodbye to our beloved Tuffy.

Tuffy’s story didn't start with an easy path. Originally bred for beef, he was neglected by his mother and struggled from his very first breath. Between health issues and a "failure to thrive," the prognosis was grim. The experts said he would never live a full life; they said he would always be "too much work." He was scheduled to be euthanized.

But then, a family friend reached out to us. We had just bought our farm, and without a second thought, we said yes. In that moment, Tuffy didn't just find a home—he gave us a mission. He was the spark that began our entire rescue journey.

His name was Tuffy because he was a fighter through and through.

We remember the weeks we spent patiently combing out the severe mats in his coat, knot by knot, until he could feel the breeze on his skin. We remember the specialized feedings and the extra hours of care required to help him gain every single pound.
For two beautiful years, he defied the odds. He wasn't just a "rescue cow"—he was family.

Tuffy taught us that every life is worth the extra effort. He showed us that while some may see "extra care" as a burden, it is actually a privilege.

Rest easy, little guy. You fought the good fight, and you changed our lives forever. You will be missed every single day, but your legacy lives on in every animal we welcome to the farm from here on out. We love you! 🕊️🌈

We’ve got a VIP (Very Important Poultry) guest at one of our lawn accounts this week!
While out mowing, we spotted this sweet mama duck patiently nesting on her eggs. 🥚

✨ It’s a tough job staying still all day, so we decided to upgrade her "room service" with some fresh food and clean water to keep her strength up without straying to far from the nest.

We’re keeping a respectful distance with the mowers to make sure she stays calm and cozy.

If all goes well, we’re hoping to see some tiny fluffballs trailing behind her in a couple of weeks! 🐣

There is nothing better than getting to enjoy a little bit of nature while we work. Stay tuned for the (hopefully) adorable update!

🚨We need your help!!

Our hearts are full, but our barn is about to be even fuller! Next weekend, we are welcoming eight new souls into the sanctuary: one handsome bull and seven sweet goats. Their current owner loves them dearly but can no longer provide the care they need, and we’ve stepped up to ensure they have a safe, forever home here at the farm.
Transitioning eight large animals at once is a massive undertaking, and we are reaching out to our incredible community to help us get ready for their arrival. To make sure they are comfortable, safe, and well-fed from day one, we are in desperate need of a few key items:

Our "Welcome Home" Wishlist:
-A Round Hay Feeder: Essential for keeping the new crew fed and minimizing hay waste.

-Heavy-Duty Gates: To create secure sections within the barn.

-Lumber/Wood: We need to build custom pens to give the goats and the bull their own dedicated spaces to settle in.

How You Can Help:
-Donate Supplies: If you have any of these items sitting unused or know someone who does, please send us a message!

-Financial Contributions: Every dollar donated goes directly toward the materials needed to build these new living quarters.
Click the "donate" button or
VENMO ()

-Share This Post: Even if you can’t donate, hitting that "share" button helps us reach the person who might have exactly what we need.

We believe that every animal deserves a soft place to land. Thank you for being the village that makes these rescues possible. We can’t wait to introduce you to the new faces next week!
