🐾❤️ DOG DATE CHRONICLES: FUDGE! ❤️🐾

Our handsome boy Fudge enjoyed a little adventure outside the shelter with one of our wonderful volunteers, and he was an absolute gentleman!

Fudge needed a little assistance getting into the volunteer's SUV, but once he was settled in the back seat, he rode like a perfect gentleman!

Their first stop was Chick-fil-A, where they enjoyed lunch on the patio. Fudge was incredibly gentle when taking his chicken and was very respectful of the volunteer's food. Such good manners!

While they were there, Fudge met a few people and was so excited to make new friends! There was one moment when a child around 6 or 7 approached quickly and then turned away. The sudden movement made Fudge a little unsure. His tail tucked, and he chose to walk away. This showed us that Fudge may appreciate slower, calmer introductions with children.

Next up was the park! 🌳 Fudge had a wonderful time rolling around in the grass, wandering around, and taking in all the sights and smells. When he spotted some dogs on the other side of the fence, you could tell he was interested in joining the fun!

Fudge was an EXCELLENT dog dater! ❤️

He showed off his gentle manners, friendly personality, and love for life's simple pleasures. A little chicken, some fresh air, a good roll in the grass, and a few new friends made for one happy boy!

Now all Fudge needs is a forever family to share more adventures with! 🐶💜

🐾💜 A BIG THANK YOU TO PHI GAMMA NU! 💜🐾

A huge shoutout to the Phi Gamma Nu (PGN) fraternity at Miami University for choosing Animal Friends Humane Society for their community service!

These amazing students decided to spend their time walking our shelter dogs, giving them some much-needed exercise, fresh air, love, and attention! 🐕☀️

For dogs waiting for their forever homes, a simple walk means so much more than you might think. ❤️ Like the two in the group photo, Nala and Ace! They are still looking for their family.

Thank you, PGN, for giving back to your community and making tails wag! We appreciate you! 🐾💜

🐾💜 WHISKER WEDNESDAY UPDATE! 💜🐾

Remember tiny Mr. Flinty? Well, he has a fancy new name — Sir Sushi Wiskerton! 😂🐱 And judging by these adorable photos, he's living his absolute BEST life!

This little guy has officially hit the kitty jackpot! His new home comes complete with a two-room play tent and tunnel, fluffy beds, tons of toys, and a scratching tree with feathers to smack around!

His favorite pastime? Grabbing toy mice by their tails, swinging them around, launching them across the room, and chasing after them! 😂 And believe it or not, he's absolutely fascinated with his self-cleaning litter box!

His family says, "We are absolutely in love with the little guy!" ❤️

From tiny Mr. Flinty to the very spoiled Sir Sushi Wiskerton, this is exactly the kind of happy ending we love to see!

Thank you to his wonderful family for giving him a life filled with love, comfort, and endless entertainment! 💜🐾

Happy tails, Sir Sushi Wiskerton! 🐱❤️

♻️ TURNING CANS INTO CASH FOR A CAUSE! 🐾💜

Who knew something as simple as recycling aluminum cans could make such a big difference?

Thanks to everyone who has been collecting and donating cans, we raised an amazing $893.80 this last time for the animals at Animal Friends Humane Society! 🎉

Every can adds up, and every dollar helps us provide food, medical care, and comfort to the animals waiting for their forever homes.

💜 Don't throw those cans away—turn them into hope for a shelter animal!

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our furry friends, one can at a time! 🐶🐱♻️
