A happy Saturday to you, viewers, and welcome to the Animal Adoption Foundation cat post. Today I offer to you, Raya, an enchanting green-eyed three-year-old grey female tabby.

Named after the heroine from the Disney animated film “Raya and the Last Dragon”, this girl is a true star. Raya, along with her babies, was transferred to the AAF from another shelter. Not an easy start, but now that all her babies have been adopted, this sweet and loving girl is seeking a happy ending to her own adventure by finding a forever home of her own.

No matter whether you’re trying to locate a missing dragon, or just want a loving and gentle companion, Raya is ready to step up and be the cat of your dreams. Meet Scooter! 🖤

This handsome little fella is a 5 year old Poodle Mix who weighs in at 9lbs (AKA the perfect size to fit in a lap).

Scooter has only been at AAF for a short amount of time so we are still getting to know him more day by day. But, here’s what we know so far:

• Walks well on a leash 🐕‍🦺

Willow’s story with the Animal Adoption Foundation began earlier this year when she arrived with her 6 babies. They were all in pretty rough shape and had URIs. Willow had given her all to caring for her children and was a shell of herself. She suffered significant hair loss and was extremely shy upon arrival.

Now, after much time and love, Willow’s personality and appearance has transformed. 😻 Her soft and luscious long hair has grown back beautifully and she has made many new friends, both of the human and the feline type.

Although she may still hold onto some of her shy characteristics, with a Churu in hand and a calm demeanor, Willow will immediately show you how amazing she truly is.

August, You’ve Been Pawsome!

Well, friends, August is taking its final bow today! We’re celebrating three very special felines who made sure August ended on a purr-fect note. 💕🐱

These three lucky kitties have traded their shelter accommodations for the comforts of home, and we couldn’t be happier for them! Each one has a new chapter waiting to be written, filled with love, cozy naps, happy memories and, naturally, plenty of opportunities to train their humans properly. 😹❤️

Three adoptions may be a small number, but to Leon, Mina and Birdie, it means everything. Their Happy Tails are a wonderful way to close out the month—and a reminder that every adoption is a reason to celebrate. 🎉

So, August, you’ve been pawsome! Thank you for the happy endings you brought our way. Now let’s turn the page to September and see what wonderful adventures await! 🍂🐾

We are seeing double here at the Animal Adoption Foundation! 👀

Starting off in room 4 with the Tortie ladies, Strawberrina and Freya, who look almost identical. Here’s the secret to identifying who is who: Strawberrina has a tipped ear and a white spot on her chest whereas Freya does not. 🤎

Next up in room 4, Watermelon and CC, both with black and white coats and emerald green eyes. The difference between the two: Watermelon is mostly black and has some scar tissue in one of his eyes, whereas CC is mostly white. 🖤🤍

Last but not least, Jax and Shania in room 3! 🩶 Both of these beauties have luxurious gray coats. But, Jax has a small amount of white fur on his chest and his back toes. Also, Shania is much smaller than Jax in height and weight.

Allow us to introduce you to the one, the only, James Bond—a handsome 3-year-old black-and-white tuxedo who looks like he was born for the role. After all, what better name for a sophisticated gentleman who permanently wears a tuxedo?

James recently completed an undercover assignment at a cat colony. Unfortunately, his fellow agents weren’t exactly welcoming, and James found himself being bullied by the other cats. Realizing it was time to abandon that mission, he packed his bags, left the colony behind, and reported for duty at Animal Adoption Foundation.

Here at AAF, James is ready for a fresh start—and this laid-back fellow is proving that he much prefers a peaceful life. He can be a bit shy when you first meet him but give him some time and he’ll happily accept affection and enjoy a good round of pets. And when James has something to say, well… he isn’t afraid to use his voice! Apparently, even the most secretive agents need to check in with headquarters from time to time.

James Bond isn’t looking for danger, intrigue or another undercover assignment. He’s simply looking for a quiet, loving home where he can relax, feel safe and enjoy being appreciated for the handsome gentleman he is.

His next mission? Finding his forever family.

This time, James Bond hopes it will be a mission that ends with happily ever after. ❤️

Good day everyone, and welcome to the Saturday Animal Adoption Foundation cat post. And today’s post is a special one! Why is that you ask? Well, it’s because today’s post features not just one, but two adorable felines for your viewing pleasure. Please allow me to introduce to you the six-month-old siblings Sylvester and Brigadeiro! Sylvester is a black, short-haired male, while Brigadeiro is a black, short-haired female.

These siblings were originally adopted in Florida, but when their owners moved to Ohio, they were no longer able to care for them and had to surrender them to the Animal Adoption Foundation shelter. Although the move to the shelter was a difficult change, both have adapted and are now ready and waiting for the day when they find a new forever home. And if you are debating the wisdom of owning two black cats, consider this – in many cultures black cats are considered lucky! In Japan they are symbols of good fortune and love, while in Scotland a strange black cat arriving on your porch signals prosperity. Also, think of the fun you can have with visitors! Tell them you only have one black cat and watch them do double takes when they keep seeing two black cats!

So, if you’re ready to double your pleasure and double your fun, maybe you should visit the Animal Adoption Foundation shelter at 2480 Ross Millville Rd, Hamilton, OH 45013, and ask to see Sylvester and Brigadeiro. It could be a great day to be seeing double!

Meet Quinn 🖤

Quinn is a female, Black Lab, who is 60lbs full of love and wiggles! After separation in her home she was surrendered to a shelter in Indiana, and from there she found her way to the Animal Adoption Foundation.

Since being here she has done FABULOUSLY with car rides. She loves to romp around in our play yards, snuggle with volunteers, and walks with her noise to the ground looking for exciting smells.
