“Theo -5 yr, neutered, is a rescue that came into my possession. He’s getting tiptop training with me.
His loving family could not keep him - so they surrendered him to me.
He is in Barbara Boot Camp now and he’s going to be treated like my dog- a dog trainer’s dog- for the next month. 
Between boarding and boarding and training he’s probably spent a month here already, on and off!
I’m pretty sure that after about a month he should be ready for adoption.
He’s wonderful with other dogs, cat respectful, and cat friendly. 
He lived with (?) four-year-old-
But he wasn’t interested in her very much unless she was eating. 🤣
He has some problems-which have pretty much disappeared, I am working on him to retain what he’s learned.
But he can’t just go to anyone because there are certain behaviors that he will revert to if a person does not have a firm understanding of how to keep a dog in the sweet submissive state that you see here.
Because I want to find the right home I’m starting now to reach out and try to find the best home for him.
That way, his adoption will be successful.

Theo is not a good dog for anyone who is going to want to treat him like a baby only
Theo is not a good dog for someone who does not know how to say no and stick by what they say.
Although I think Theo is going to be a wonderful companion,
And if I didn’t have so much on my hands, I probably would just keep him.
