It’s holiday time again and while it’s great to get together it can be a stressful and potentially dangerous time for fur babies. Please inform your guests not to feed your pets from the table. This often results in upset stomach/diarrhea and in the case of toxic ingredients it can result in a trip to the emergency room or worse. Provide a safe a quiet space for your animals to get away if/when they get over stimulated. Provide a safe place for guests to put their belongings so your pets cannot get to them and secure all trash cans in a secure place or with secure lids. Discuss a door protocol with your guests to avoid unwanted escapes.

We hope all creatures, two legged and four legged alike have a happy and safe holiday!
