7 year old - Missouri Fox Trotter/TWH cross mare - 13.3hh - Hamden, Ohio

Rain came to me 45 days ago to be trained and sold on consignment, and she has done great. She is still green broke, but has improved a ton with consistent riding and gets better every ride.

She has been wonderful out on the trails. She’ll ride out alone, crosses bridges, handles hills, stops, backs, loads, ties, and stands nicely. She has been going very well in the arena, I have a 13 year old her rides her weekly and they do great together.

Rain can be a typical pony mare and may test a little, but she is not mean. She is a willing learner and gets sweeter once she knows you.

Best suited for an advanced child with guidance or an intermediate adult.

Meet Roscoe ✨

This tall, dark, and handsome man showed up last night and is already making himself right at home.

Standing at 16.2 hh, Roscoe is a Friesian/TWH cross who is truly gaited and smoother than all get out. He’s big, kind, fancy, and has been nothing but level-headed so far.

I can’t wait to see what all this guy achieves ❤️

🐴 Riding Lessons Now Available at HP Performance Ranch in Hamden Ohio🐴

I’ll officially be opening a limited number of private lesson spots for beginner through advanced riders.

I can help with:
• beginner riding & confidence building
• horsemanship & groundwork
• trail confidence
• hunter/jumper & eventing basics
• barrels/gaming foundations
• improving communication with your horse
• general riding & balance work

Lessons available:
• at my place using a lesson horse
• haul-in lessons with your horse
• limited travel lessons available

Pricing:
• $40 — lesson using a lesson horse
• $30 — haul-in lesson with your own horse
• $65 — travel lesson (15 mile radius)

Lessons are weather permitting and availability will stay fairly limited while I continue focusing on training and sales horses.

Mickey is a steady minded young pony that has been started the right way and is ready for someone to take him in a direction.

He has a solid foundation with a great brain, quiet, willing, and trustworthy. He is more woah than go and has a very level headed, easy going way about him. He has been ridden both alone and in a group, has been out on trails with no issues, and is traffic safe. He handles new environments well and keeps a level head.

One of his standout qualities is his temperament; he is kind, patient, and safe enough to pony children off of, making him an excellent candidate for a kid’s pony or family type mount with a little finishing.

I have not started him at the canter yet, as I feel I am too big to fairly ask that of him, but he is ready for that next step with the right rider.

He stands tied, loads easily, bathes, and is good for the farrier. Easy keeper and barefoot. UTD on all care.

This is a genuinely nice young pony with a great start who just needs to be finished out in the arena. An intermediate kid or small beginner adult working with a trainer could easily take him the rest of the way.
