🐾😰 SUNDAY SCARIES: “I CAN’T FOSTER BECAUSE I’LL GET TOO ATTACHED!” 😰🐾
We hear this ALL THE TIME. And honestly? We get it. ❤️
The thought of letting a dog into your home, falling in love with their goofy personality, their happy tail wags, and the way they curl up next to you on the couch… only to say goodbye when they find their forever family? It sounds HARD.
But here's something we want you to think about. 🥹💕
What if getting attached is exactly what that dog needs?

They all have different needs, but they all need the same thing: a safe place to land while we find their forever family.

And when that bittersweet goodbye comes, you'll know that because you opened your home, a dog who needed you got their chance. You didn't lose a dog. You helped change a life.
Our fosters are truly the heart of Where the Love Is. We are endlessly grateful to every person who has opened their home and heart to a dog in need. We simply couldn't do this without you. ❤️
But the need keeps growing, and we cannot do it alone.
