Easter celebrations often include treats and decorations that can be harmful to pets.

A few of the biggest holiday hazards include:

Chocolate and candy – toxic to dogs and cats
Plastic Easter grass – can cause dangerous intestinal blockages if swallowed
Lilies – extremely toxic to cats, even in small amounts
Ham and fatty foods – may trigger pancreatitis in pets

If you're celebrating Easter this season, keep baskets, decorations, and table scraps safely out of reach.

A little prevention can help ensure the holiday stays safe and enjoyable for everyone — including your pets.
