🚨 FREE MICROCHIPS, PET ID TAGS, AND MORE - TOMORROW!🚨

Sure, you can pay for your pet to be microchipped, pay to register their microchip, and buy your own engraved pet ID tags, but why would you when you can come to Sheehy Subaru Hagerstown tomorrow and get it all for free?!

Join us any time from 4pm-7pm at Sheehy Subaru tomorrow, and get your pets chipped for free! You can also get 'em some shiny, new hardware as we'll be giving away custom engraved pet ID tags for cats and dogs while supplies last! This event is open to all regardless of residency. Worried your dog will bring shame and embarrassment to your entire family tree? We won't judge! We'll have a special area designated to microchip reactive dogs with as few stressors as possible. Please ensure all dogs are leashed and all cats are in carriers, and we'll see you tomorrow night at Sheehy Subaru in Hagerstown! 🐾

Deep dish pizza, Wrigley Field, Da Bears, and The Bean. What's not to love about the Chicago?! This one-and-a-half-year-old girl may as well be from the Windy City with as much change as she's experienced in her young life. Despite it all, she remains a sweet, happy girl who enjoys interacting with people. Chicago's looking for someone to be the Michael Jordan to her Scottie Pippen -- someone she can count on to consistently be there, to be patient with her, and to be part of the "Dream Team" to lead the United States to Olympic victory!

Okay, maybe we're getting a little carried away, but if you're ready to give a deserving dog a fresh start in life, come meet her! It's the only time you can visit Chicago without leaving the state of Maryland!

🐕: Chicago has shown some food-guarding behavior around other dogs, so she may do best as the only dog in the home. An experienced adopter may be able to help her work through this.
🧑‍🤝‍🧑: Chicago may do well with children who are respectful to dogs.
🐈: Unfortunately, Chicago cannot go to a home with cats.
🩺: Chicago is one and a half years old and weighs about 46 pounds. She's spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
📍: Come meet Chicago at 13011 Maugansville Road in Hagerstown, MD!
⚾: St. Louis Cardinals fans may apply to adopt Chicago. We will not deny your application based on your poor choice in teams. 😉

As part of the Subaru Loves Pets initiative and in partnership with ASPCA , our friends over at Sheehy Subaru Hagerstown have generously sponsored the adoption fees of several "underdogs." These animals have different reasons for being selected as underdogs. Some may have special needs, others may be seniors, and they're all deserving of loving, forever homes.

Learn more about Nadia, Judy, Thimble & Radiant, and Rodrick on our website at hswcmd.org/adoption-gallery. All come spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. More underdogs will be introduced as they become available.

Thank you so much to ASPCA and Sheehy Subaru Hagerstown for championing these special pets and making it easier for them to find loving homes! 🐾

A microchip won't track your pet's every movement, but it WILL tell someone who to call if your pet is found. Microchipping is fast, easy, and relatively painless, and on Thursday at Sheehy Subaru Hagerstown, it's also FREE!

Join us from 4-7pm at Sheehy Subaru located at 10320 Auto Place in Hagerstown, and get your cat(s) and/or dog(s) microchipped for free. Here's some important info to know:

🐾 Bring as many cats or dogs as you want! We just ask that cats are in carriers and dogs are on leashes. Have a reactive dog? No problem! Just let our volunteers know when you arrive, and we will direct you to the designated area to minimize the stress on your dog.

🐾 You do not have to be a resident of Washington County to receive a free microchip. This event is open to all, including those from out-of-state.

🐾 No documentation or payment is required. Donations are accepted, but this is a totally free event.

🐾 Personalized, engraved pet ID tags for dogs and cats will also be available at this event. This is the perfect opportunity to get your pet a shiny new tag with your current address and phone number on it.

Please help us spread the word by sharing this post with your friends and in local community groups. The more pets chipped the better for all!

This event is made possible thanks to a grant from the ASPCA. Thank you, ASPCA!
