You will love this guy Tank and his Dad!

#𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐆𝐮𝐲 𝐎𝐮𝐭

Tank’s page has grown into something special — a community of people who see the heart, humor, and loyalty in a snapping turtle who refuses to be anything but himself. And now, we have a chance to help that community grow even stronger.

When you add ** ** to your posts — whether it’s a photo, a comment, a share, or a story — you’re doing more than tagging a turtle. You’re helping Tank’s page reach new people. You’re connecting fans to each other. You’re making it easier for someone who’s never met Tank to stumble across his world and say, “Okay… I love him.”

Every hashtag is a little signal.
A breadcrumb.
A way for Tank’s supporters to find each other and keep his legacy moving forward.

So if you enjoy Tank’s stories, his confidence, his calm presence, or the way he wins people over one moment at a time, consider adding ** ** to your posts. It’s a small thing that makes a big difference — and it helps Tank’s community grow one shell, one story, one fan at a time.

Did you know???

A thistle flower once did a job many people associate with animal rennet.

For generations, cheesemakers in parts of Portugal and Spain have used flowers from cardoon, Cynara cardunculus, to help coagulate sheep's milk.

The flowers contain proteolytic enzymes that act on milk proteins, helping liquid milk form curds.

This is not just an abandoned historical curiosity. Cardoon remains an important vegetable coagulant in several traditional Mediterranean cheeses, including protected Portuguese varieties.

Visually, the plant looks almost too defensive to belong anywhere near a dairy.

Yet its purple flower became part of a remarkably specific cheesemaking tradition.

The useful part of the thistle wasn't always what grew below the flower. Sometimes it was the flower itself.

Friends… It’s me, Tank.
Dad and I just wanted to say something important tonight.
Every time you view, comment, or share our page, you’re helping us show the world what I’ve known since I was little:
A snapping turtle and a human can be the best of friends.
What Dad and I have is rare — a once-in-a-lifetime bond — and we share it because we want our joy to reach you too. When you smile at our posts, when you leave a kind word, when you tell us how our story brightened your day… we feel that. We really do.
We’re sitting at 73,000 followers, inching closer to 100,000.
Imagine that — a snapping turtle originally from South Dakota, followed by people all over the world. Dad still shakes his head in disbelief. I just blink slowly and accept my destiny.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you for believing in us.
Thank you for letting our friendship become a part of your life.
