Community-supported and rooted in connection, confidence, and care. Reach out to learn how you can get involved today! Star Therapeutic Equestrian Center is one of Star Community's three core programs. Our services cater to the body, mind and spirit of each rider, helping them grow both in and out of the arena. With flexible, individualized lessons, every rider can discover more about themselves and their possibilities through building a relationship with our horse partners. By encouraging riders to establish and work towards personalized goals, each person has the chance to grow, learn new skills, and explore their abilities.

Star is accredited through Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) and is a Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.)

We pampered Jarle with treats and snoot boops during his retirement party. Calvin, who is pictured below and owns Jarle, was the most important guest. Calvin and Jarle share a bond that is deeper than words, and the two will always remain special to each other. Jarle will be living it up at the beach in Delaware, but we'll never forget him at Star!

Tina Fraley is coming out to Star Equestrian during our United for Vets event to offer free yoga! Bring your mat and center yourself amongst our small farm animals (we can't promise you won't get bucked by Polly!). Pop in anytime between 12pm and 3pm to join in!

We met our goal of collecting 300 advocacy pledges for people with disabilities by September 30th! It was all due to you, our incredible followers, who believe in our mission and the ability of all people to achieve limitless possibilities.

Jarle, our teddy bear, is officially retiring next month. We welcome everyone to join us in wishing him well! Come out to our Center on October 11th from 2pm to 4pm to give him some treats, boop his snoot, and lots of hugs!

We welcomed staff from North Point Veterans Home to our Center on Monday to discuss our Star's Stripes and Heroes program. We're excited to connect with a resource that provides crucial housing for our veterans, and we look forward to expanding our reach to those that North Point serves.
