These pups are proud full siblings of an International Champion 🏆
Int CH Noble is just one tangible example from multiple objective breed Judges of Nautica and Aspen's top producing ability. You don't have to take our word for it--at just 14 months of age, Noble became an International Champion. He was evaluated by 5 different judges, and each one awarded him the highest award that can be given of V1 with glowing critiques.
For context, they check head and expression, bite and teeth, ears, coat and color, forequarters, hindquarters, body structure, neck, topline, tail, gait, and temperament. All is evaluated under critical and experienced eyes, and also hands on by touch and feel to confirm good muscle and structure and temperament, etc. To not have a single deviation from the best from all 5 judges is quite the impressive feat!
For further context, lesser ratings of V2 is "Excellent", V-3 and V-4 are both "Excellent" as well but ranked just below any V2 dogs, SG is "Very Good", G is "Good" and then F for "Fair".
V1 is "Very Excellent", the topmost rating, going above even the "excellent" options which would have all still been rather happily achieved.
Rest assured, your puppy from Nautica and Aspen will be a cut above, just like their prior puppy together "Noble". Again, he's just one example, as most of our families don't care to show, but still appreciate the solid health and strong anatomy, beauty, and solid temperaments these show potential dogs have to offer. Many don't understand that the breed standard was developed for a reason. They say "we don't need a show dog", but they fail to realize that means "I don't mind a dog with a poor temperament, weak with lack of muscle, an overbite that may need surgery...", etc. Deviations from the breed standard don't just mean that the dog wouldn't show well, but also that they wouldn't show well because they're lacking and noticeably poor in some category that the Golden Retriever is meant to be--thus, the best family pets are also show quality dogs, selectively bred by responsible and thoughtful people for many generations.
