“Cat cafés are cruel.” The alternative for many of these cats isn’t lounging on cat trees, getting treats, and meeting potential adopters every day. The alternative is often sitting in a kennel, bouncing between foster homes, or surviving outside where they’re exposed to cars, disease, predators, extreme weather, and an uncertain next meal. Our cats are foster cats from a nonprofit rescue. They live in over 1,700 square feet of open space, aren’t kenneled at night, receive daily care, and get the opportunity to show adopters who they really are. Instead of being passed by because they’re scared in a cage, people get to meet them in a relaxed environment where their personalities can shine. The goal isn’t to keep cats here forever. The goal is to give them a safe place to land while they wait for the family that’s meant for them.
