Measured Money today. She's just over 25"at 2 months old... Holy moly! She's bigger than many of my babies are at weaning. 😂 I just keep thinking she's SO BIG, it's just weird compared to the rest i guess
We also had another halter lesson. If I get in front of her and expect her to follow, she tightens the rope then plays dead. Just rolls right over. I tried a butt rope today, she folds in half, then falls over. I can't figure out if she's smarter than me or really stupid 😂.
I've tried walking with Mom, same thing. She's very independent. So tonight, I stood closer to her rear and it was more of a push than a pull. She's walking with me, but I feel shes walking AWAY from me. I kept trying to slowly sneak up front and just naturally transition her into walking with me, but the second I get in the front, she FLOPS. ABSOLUTE NO. Y'all I've been doing this for my whole life and I've never had a baby that wasn't halter trained in a matter of minutes. She's doing the right thing if you just want her walking beside you. But this is not helpful to teach her to try new things, get in the trailer, etc.
