On Sunday morning, I was thrilled to assist a wonderful couple, a pair of newlyweds as of this past May, in training their 18-month-old Shih Tzu mix named Winston, who was actually found on the streets of Vicksburg, Mississippi, searching for a home. They've only had Winston for 3 weeks, and the last 3 weeks have been chaotic around the home front. My newlyweds' soon found out that Winston was a big barker when he heard a noise or saw somebody walking by; he did not know how to walk properly on the leash for exercise or sit or stay in place or at a distance; he would jump on friends and furniture when it wasn't warranted and act up inside the home. Now, my joyful couple has the knowledge and tools to control this wonderful boy without using food or treats as motivation. Winston is walking properly on the leash, sitting and staying in place with distractions, no longer barking unless it's warranted, and only jumping on friends or furniture has been addressed and curtailed.

On Saturday afternoon I was pleased to assist a wonderful lady who retired from the legal profession and recently added a 6-month-old mixed breed that she rescued from a local shelter who goes by the name of Patches. Patches was taking advantage of Mom's kindness by not walking properly on the leash without trying to drag her down the road; not knowing how to sit or stay in place; jumping on her as well as the furniture without permission; and acting a little bit wild inside the home, causing some heartburn when she invited her friends over for a visit. Now, my owner has the necessary knowledge and tools to control this carefree-go-lucky fella. Patches is now walking smartly on the leash, sitting and staying in place at a distance, and returning promptly when called; he no longer jumps on anyone or anything unless it is approved, and he behaves well inside the home, respecting his mother's kindness. All training was completed without the use of food or treats for motivation and my owner knows if she has any concerns regarding patches I am only a phone call away.

Last Sunday afternoon, I was delighted to assist a standout young man who works in the hospitality industry in training his newest addition, a 17-week-old Belgian Malinois named Rocky, but he had no idea what he was getting into when he brought the dog into his life, as the Malinois breed is primarily used in military and law enforcement. Rocky was known especially for two things jumping on him and his girlfriend as well as chewing on his arm since Rocky was showing aggressive issues in an overly friendly manner which was concerning, and Rocky also really did not how to walk nicely on the leash for exercise since he pulled or know how to sit or stay in place or a distance. My owner was shocked on how fast Rocky learned these tasks. Rocky is now walking smoothly on the leash without pulling sitting and staying in place as well as at distance with distractions since we did the training in a local park in Pass Christian he also is no longer jumping on anyone or anything unless permitted and his playful aggression has been addressed in curtailed all training was accomplished without use the food or treats for a motivation.

On Sunday afternoon, I was delighted to assist a wonderful couple who've been together for 41 years in training their newest addition. Let's meet River, a 17-week-old Brittany Spaniel who was full of energy and being a typical puppy by jumping when it wasn't appropriate, he had no ideal of how to sit or stay in place, especially when the front door was open, made it difficult to walk for exercise on the leash because he pulled and was unable to settle down inside the home without causing some mischief. Now my owners have the knowledge and tools to control this lovely boy, who is walking smartly on the leash, sitting, and staying in place as well as at a distance, as shown in the photos below, and being calm inside the home and no longer jumping on anyone or anything unless it's approved. All training was completed without using food or treats as motivation, and my owners know that if they have any questions or concerns, I am only a phone call.

Last Sunday afternoon I was delighted to drive up to Picayune, Mississippi, despite the potential of rain in the area to help a stand-up guy who's retired from the construction world in training his incredibly intelligent German Shepherd named Pickles, as he needed some pointers regarding her obedience. Pickles was still pulling on the leash when walking for exercise and jumped when it wasn't appropriate, and her sit and stay were hit or miss, and returning back wasn't always 100% to her owner. Now my owner has the knowledge and tools to control this wonderful girl who's walking smoothly on the leash, sitting and staying in place as well as at a long distance and returning nicely when called even with distractions, as shown in the photos below. All training was accomplished without the use of food or treats for motivation, and my owner knows that if I have any questions or concerns, I am only a phone call away.

Last Wednesday afternoon, I was delighted to assist a wonderful couple who have been married for 36 years, including her husband, a veteran of the United States Army who served actively from 1970 to 1979, including in the National Guard. His wife, a homemaker, also worked for the Mississippi Department of Transportation in the past. They were training their newly acquired pound rescue pup named Lady, a 16-week-old pit bull who was experiencing obedience issues. Lady was a big jumper, causing scratches and abrasions on the couple's arms; she did not know how to walk properly on a leash, sit, or stay in place, and her return to her owners was inconsistent. Now my owners have knowledge and tools to control this wonderful girl who's walking smoothly on the leash without pulling, no longer jumping on anyone or anything unless it's approved, sitting and staying in place as well as at a distance, and returning nicely to her owners when called. All training was completed without the use of food or treats for motivation.

Last Monday afternoon, I was delighted to assist a wonderful lady who works in the banking industry, along with her college-age daughter, in training their four-year-old Shih Tzu named Burrow. This dog was named after Joe Burrow, the star quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner from LSU, where my owner is a graduate. However, this dog, the four legged type, exhibited aggressive behavior that fluctuated unpredictably; he had difficulty walking on a leash without pulling, did not know how to sit or stay in place, and would jump inappropriately. Now his aggressive attitude has been addressed and curtailed; he's walking nicely on the leash as shown in the photo below, learning how to sit and stay in place as well as at a distance, and returning when called. All training was completed without the use of food or treats for motivation, and my owner has the knowledge and tools to control this bundle of joy.

Last Monday afternoon, I was thrilled to assist a terrific young lady who works in logistics on training her newest addition, a 6-month-old mini doodle named Lea. Lea was exceptionally sweet; however, she exhibited behaviors such as jumping on the furniture, failing to walk properly on a leash without pulling, jumping at inappropriate times, not sitting or staying in place when instructed, and demonstrating inconsistency in returning to her owner. Now my owner has the knowledge and tools to control this wonderful girl. Leah's walking smartly on the leash as shown in photos below, sitting and staying in place as well as going long distances and returning nicely when called. She's no longer jumping on anyone or anything unless approved. All training was completed without the use of food or treats for motivation, and my owner knows that if she has any questions or concerns, I'm only a phone call away.

Last Sunday afternoon I was happy to assist another wonderful family with their latest addition, a super stunner 9-month-old English Springer Spaniel named Luna, who was giving the family headaches regarding her exuberance inside the home, difficulty walking on a leash, especially down the front steps; not knowing how to sit or stay in place; and jumping when it wasn't appropriate on the young children and furniture. Now without using any food or treats, the family controls Luna, who's walking smoother on the leash, calmed down the front steps, no longer jumps on anyone or anything unless permitted, and stays in place as well as at a distance with distractions. The family has the tools and knowledge to control this wonderful girl, and they know if they have any questions, I am only a phone call away.

Now without using food or treats, my owners have the knowledge and tools to control this wonderful girl who is sitting in place as well as at a distance, no longer jumping unless it's appropriate, as well as chewing on the arms, which is only during playtime; walking nicely on the leash without pulling; and overall being a proper pup.
