After long consideration we have decided to not have the Halloween Basset Hound Event this year. It required a lot of planning that we didn't have the time to put it together properly. Yes, cost was a small factor as Connie and I sponsored this entire event every year and we did it happily. The Liability insurance has gone through the roof that we were required by Santa Rosa County to purchase.
We were very proud of the Halloween Event, bringing Basset Hounds and their families together, to have them meeting their long eared cousins, shining a light on our favorite breed giving them their blue ribbon moment.
Connie & I feel so blessed to have met so many nice people and their fur babies.
We hope we made fun memories for all attendees we so enjoyed bringing a special breed family together each year.
We want to thank our volunteers who helped make this event possible.
Thank you Kathryn Barley for your guidance and your wonderful gift baskets full of amazing gifts.
Thank you to Petsense Gulf Breeze & Milton for setting up a tent bringing their mascot, "Barkley" and the great gift bags given to everyone.
Thank you Kerry Smith for being our advocate to get permission to provide this event.
Finally, Connie & I want to Thank everyone for attending you have given us forever happy memories.
God Bless you all.
Ed & Connie Grier
