We are licensed and inspected and work with all breed

s and sizes to cover all the hygienic needs of your pet including nail trimming/filing and ear cleaning with every full-service grooming appointment. We believe in humanity over vanity, so we utilize a gentle and pet-centered approach, meeting the physical and psychological needs of the dog. Please arrange this service prior to arrival of a boarding stay. Short hair full service includes: bath, blow dry, brush, nail trim/file, ear cleaning
Long hair full service Includes above plus hair trimming, thinning, and/or shaping

As of Jan 1, 2025, our prices will be based on:

TYPE - of dog, fur/hair, size/weight, trim/style
TIME - to efficiently and effectively provide care
TEMPERAMENT - behavior and triggers

Pets are like family and we know you want the very best for them. Are you postponing a trip/vacation because you have nowhere for your pet to go? Contact Posh Paws to reserve a spot for your special pet. We provide a fun environment to keep your pet active, safe, and loved! We offer supervised socialization for boarding clients with indoor and outdoor (weather permitting) playtime as well as private dens for quiet time. The dogs are socialized in small groups, according to size and disposition. Your pup will receive personalized attention because we understand that all dogs have individual personalities and preferences. Our boarding facility is climate-controlled for your pet’s comfort. We provide the bed, blanket, toys, and bowls; you provide the food and treats. Our facility is clean & sanitary; we use pet-friendly cleaning & disinfecting supplies. Check in time is between 5-6 pm; checkout time is between 8-9 am. Boarding Dens
$30 per night, for one dog
$25 per dog if more than one dog can share the same den space (max 2 dogs per den)
$30 for additional dogs that require a separate den
$10 fee if picked up before and/or after regular check-in/check-out time

A ONE NIGHT NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO RESERVE YOUR DEN(S). Vaccinations required for boarding and daycare are Rabies, Distemper, and parvo.. We also require that all of our socializing pets be protected from fleas and ticks. Male dogs over six months of age are required to be neutered for socialization. We require a trial visit to ensure the suitability of the dog for the safety of staff and other guests. Never socialize your pet if they have an active cough, discharge from their nose or eyes, or diarrhea. These symptoms can put your pet and their playmates at risk. We will never knowingly socialize a dog with a contagious illness. However, in any social setting there are higher risks of communicable illnesses due to the close contact between animals.

National Dog Day was founded in 2004 by pet lifestyle expert Colleen Paige to celebrate all dogs from loyal family pets to hardworking service and rescue dogs. It’s observed every year on August 26. The day exists to:
* Honor the unconditional love dogs give us
* Raise awareness about shelter dogs needing homes
* Recognize working dogs like guide dogs, police K-9s, and therapy animals
* Encourage responsible pet ownership and adoption over buying

I’ve had many inquiries from new grooming clients lately. Unfortunately, I’m not able to take on new clients OR additional pups from existing clients. In order to continue providing high quality, one-on-one service, I won’t be taking new clients for the foreseeable future.

Thanks to the Grundy Center Park Board for hosting the “pet a pup” event during Ragbrai today. There was a tremendous positive response from all the visitors who enjoyed meeting new four-legged friends. 8️⃣4️⃣ more books in the hands of kids and teachers! Posh Paws Grooming & Boarding is proud to sponsor a special book giveaway at the GC Elementary this week.

In each classroom, students were chosen based on:
📕 Top Reader Award
📕 Kindness Award (selected by their peers)
📕 3 books to 3 students selected by their teacher.
📕 one book selected by the teacher for their classroom

Each award winner and teacher was encouraged to select a book of their OWN choice during the Scholastic Book Fair.

A special thank you to Mrs. Saak for her assistance in coordinating this very special event.
