I'm excited to announce that I've accepted a new position as a Dog Trainer with The Distracted Dog team!

As I begin this new chapter, I'll also be closing Midwest Canine.

Building Midwest Canine has been an incredible experience, and I'm beyond grateful for every client who trusted me with their dog, every family I had the opportunity to work with, and everyone who supported my business along the way. Because of you, I've been able to do what I love every single day.

I'm incredibly excited for what's ahead. Joining The Distracted Dog gives me the opportunity to continue helping dogs and their owners while working alongside an outstanding team that shares my passion, values, and commitment to excellent training.

For my current and former clients, you'll still see the same trainer you've come to know—just with even more resources and support behind me. My commitment to helping dogs and their families hasn't changed. If anything, it's only getting stronger.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the Midwest Canine journey. I'm proud of everything we accomplished together, and I'm even more excited about what comes next.
I can't wait to get started and continue serving the dogs and families of Central Illinois as part of The Distracted Dog.

Here's to the next chapter! 🐾

🎓 Huge congratulations to our Level 3 graduates!

We’re incredibly proud of the hard work and progress you’ve all made—and this is just the beginning. We can’t wait to see how far you go from here.

A big thank you to The Office on Main for hosting an amazing graduation party and going the extra mile with a special dog menu for our pups 🐾 We had an incredible time celebrating together. If you haven’t been yet, make sure to check them out—and bring your dog along!

Cleo taking a little R&R on the dog walk after putting in some good work. Training is important, but so is taking a moment to relax and enjoy the process. 🐾

Early morning exposure sessions with Sarge and Joker to start the day right. Sarge is an old friend back to level up his obedience, while Joker is a new friend just beginning his training journey. Both are doing an awesome job!

Huge thank you to everyone who came out to group class today at the Shoppes of Grande Prarie. I’m proud of the effort, focus, and progress I saw across the board. Consistency and hard work always pay off — and your dogs are proving it. Keep putting in the reps.

See you next week. 🐾💪

Obedience matters. Structure matters. Consistency matters. But so does joy.

Training isn’t about creating a robot — it’s about giving your dog the clarity and skills to succeed. When expectations are clear, dogs relax, gain confidence, and earn real freedom.
Stitch did a great job in his private session with his owner. Focused when it was time to work, still himself the entire time. That balance is the goal.

Train with purpose and live with freedom.
