Second Chance Pet Rescue of Grand Lake We give safe and secure housing to dogs and cats, abandoned in Grove, and Delaware County.

We are Second Chance Pet Rescue of Grand Lake, AKA Humane Society of Grove and Grand Lake Inc, a 501 ( c ) 3 not-for-profit, private animal shelter, established in 1984 and governed by a Board of Directors. We are not affiliated with any national group and we do not receive any state or federal government funding. Our goal is to provide a caring, safe, and loving environment for abused and abandon

ed dogs and cats in our community. We are a life-saving shelter that houses approximately 100 dogs and 75 cats and are usually at capacity. The pet overpopulation problem in our community is an ongoing concern. We offer low cost spay and neuter vouchers to help address this problem. All of our animals are spayed or neutered shortly after they enter the shelter.

🐾 Summer Employee Appreciation Day! 🐾

Today, we are taking a moment to celebrate the incredible, hardworking team here at Second Chance Pet Rescue. From early mornings to late nights and every weekend and holiday, their dedication to our shelter animals is truly unmatched.

To give our staff a well-deserved break before summer is officially over, our office is CLOSED today.

🗓️ We will resume normal office hours on Wednesday of next week.

We are so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause! Thank you to our wonderful community for your understanding, your patience, and your endless support. We can't wait to see you all on Wednesday! 🐶🐱❤️
