Week 4 of Body Language Breakdown is here! 🚨🐾
This week we’re talking about: Defensive Body Language ⚠️👀

Defensive body language doesn’t mean a dog is being “stubborn” or “dramatic.” It simply means they’re feeling uncertain, uncomfortable, stressed, or trying to increase distance from something that feels unsafe to them.

Swipe through to see the breakdown of:
👂 Ears
👀 Eyes
👅 Mouth
🐕 Body & Tail

Defensive body language often shows up before bigger reactions happen, which is why learning to recognize these signals matters. The more we notice the subtle signs, the more we can advocate for our dogs and help them feel safe before communication escalates. ✨

Every dog has a summer alter ego. ☀️

Some pups are out here living their best life as tiny pool sharks and snack thieves...while others are searching for the nearest patch of shade and refusing to move.

What's YOUR dog's summer personality? 👀🐾

Comment below with their alter ego, and if it's not on the list, I need to hear it. 😂

While you're stuck in meetings or out running errands, your dog is counting down the minutes until you get home. A quick trip to the backyard isn't enough.

That's where we come in. We don't just "walk dogs," we provide enrichment-filled breaks that allow your dog to explore the world and exercise their mind and body.

☀️ Give your dog something to look forward to this summer. DM us "WALK" to schedule your dog's spot today.

Week 3 of Body Language Breakdown is here! 🚨🐾
This week we’re talking about: Offensive Body Language ⚠️👀

Offensive body language doesn’t mean a dog is “bad” or trying to be dominant. It simply means they’re using body language to create space, increase distance, or communicate discomfort in a more direct way.

Swipe through to see the breakdown of:
👂 Ears
👀 Eyes
👅 Mouth
🐕 Body & Tail

Recognizing these signals early can help prevent situations from escalating and give you a better understanding of what your dog may be communicating. Observation helps us respond before behavior becomes bigger communication. ✨

One thing I hope Groovy Paws becomes is more than a service provider in your contacts list.

I want to celebrate your dog's birthdays. I want to hear about the silly things they do at home. I want to celebrate the wins — whether that's finally walking past another dog calmly or mastering "sit." I want to send sympathy cards when it's time to say goodbye.

Because while yes, I'm here for your dog, but I'm also here for you.

My goal isn't just training behaviors or checking off tasks. It's helping make life with your pup easier, less stressful, and more fulfilling for both of you. Raising and loving a dog comes with big moments and tiny moments, and I hope Groovy Paws gets to be part of both. 🐾💛

Tell me something about your pup — birthday, favorite toy, weird little habit... I want to hear it 👇

Your schedule is packed enough, your dog care doesn’t need to be. From rides and drop-ins to p**p scooping and event support, these convenience services are here to make life easier for both you and your pup. 🐾✨

Which one would save you the most stress? 👀👇

Week 2 of Body Language Breakdown is here! 🚨🐾
This week we’re talking about: The Alert State 👀⚡

An alert dog isn’t automatically “bad,” “aggressive,” or “reactive.” Alert simply means your dog has noticed something important and is gathering information about their environment.

Swipe through to see the breakdown of:
👂 Ears
👀 Eyes
👅 Mouth
🐕 Body & Tail

Learning to spot alertness early can help you better understand your dog before excitement, fear, or overwhelm escalate. Communication always starts with observation. ✨

You do NOT need a “perfect dog” to join group classes 🐾

In fact, many dogs come to class because they struggle around distractions, get overexcited, pull on leash, bark, or just need more structure and guidance in the real world.

Group classes are about learning with your dog — not showing up already knowing everything.

If you’ve been wanting more confidence, more communication, and more real-life skills with your dog, this is your sign 💛

✨ Registration for upcoming group classes is officially OPEN ✨
