We are back in business! In-home training and group classes are back in session. Creative Canine Training is now taking new in-home training clients and scheduling in home visits. Adventure Days and In Home Day Training have been added as additional services and can be scheduled anytime.

Important Fall 2023 Update

As of Thanksgiving 2023, Creative Canine Training will not be taking new In-Home training clients. Paid packages and regular scheduled appointments will be completed before January 2024, when I will be taking a few months for Maternity leave. Creative Canine Training should be back in full operation and scheduling training clients by an estimated date of March 2024!

Willow is looking for a new home! Her breed is unknown, but appears to be a mix of shepherd or cattle dog. At 1.5yrs old, she has plenty of energy and s***k!

She is friendly, playful, energetic and loves to learn. Food and toy motivated! Willow has been known to be good with other dogs, great with people, but has never been introduced to cats.

Willow is spayed and up to date on vaccines and preventions. She will come with her bed and toys. Her owner would love to see her go to a good home that will spend the time with her that she deserves! She will make a great companion for someone.

Willow ❤️

She loves walking in the woods. I love being able to give her some freedom to explore.

Often people ask me if, during a walk, their dog should “heel” or be able to sniff and explore. I firmly believe in BOTH.

There are places where your dog should be under control- vet offices, pet stores, sidewalks, passing people on the trail, etc.

And then there are places your dog should be able to have a little freedom, whether it be off-leash, in a fenced in area, on a long leash, or even just at the end of their 6ft lead.

It’s your job to teach your dog when and where they are expected or allowed to do either activity, and it’s very helpful to have each behavior (heel and free/go sniff) on verbal cue.

And yes, I am dragging a 30 foot line. The trainer is on a leash and the dog is not 😂
