We’re excited to introduce the newest addition to Nelson and Son Working Dog—meet Buck! 🐾

Buck comes to us from Hackberry Kennels in Shelby, Iowa, and we couldn’t be more impressed with his build, temperament, and strong working lineage. He’s already showing all the qualities we look for in a top-tier stud dog.

We’re confident Buck will make an excellent match with our current females, and we’re looking forward to the outstanding litters he’ll help produce.

Wrapped up pheasant season yesterday by hitting our limit. Reva (far right) had a great first full season and has proven herself to be quite the hunter. Josie’s gsp, Mave (2nd from right), had an awesome year. Jack (2nd from left) is just an all around fantastic dog.

We can’t wait to see what will come this spring but we sure hope it’s a couple litters of puppies!!
