🐴 We’re not just a small animal clinic! 🐴

We recently stepped out of the clinic and headed to a local horse barn to take care of a very large patient!

Our team had the opportunity to provide equine wellness care, and let’s just say…drawing blood from a vein that big was pretty exciting!

Savannah was especially thrilled to trade her usual small-animal patients for a horse and experience just how different (and BIG!) veterinary medicine can be.

We absolutely loved getting out of the clinic and visiting our handsome equine patient. Thanks for trusting us with Peppy!

From puppies and kittens to horses…we love caring for them all! 🐶🐱🐴

🐾 **Meet Yams! 🐾**

We don’t get to see Italian Greyhounds very often, so we were excited to meet this beautiful 14-week-old puppy!

Yams has a gorgeous cream coat, a highly sought-after color in this elegant breed. She was the perfect little patient during her visit with Nurse Savannah. 💚

Thank you, Sherman, for trusting Gretna Veterinary Hospital with Yams’ care. We loved meeting her and can’t wait to watch her grow! 🐶🐾

The donut may not be his favorite accessory... 🍩😸..but it's helping keep his neuter incision clean and protected. The best post-op visits are the ones where everything looks perfect—just like this handsome boy! Mom is on top of things for sure.
