Hi all! Thought the first week of spring called for a winter recap!

I have spent the winter months continuing my education by attending clinics and competing. I attended the Farrier Day at Country View Equine, Michigan Horseshoers annual contest, and WFA Spring clinic with Mark Thorkildson. These were great opportunities to fine tune my skills, learn new techniques, and expand my knowledge to apply to everyday work. I’m looking forward to an exciting spring ahead!

With the warmer weather coming, it’s the perfect time to get ready to hit the trails, and prepare for show season. With that being said, I have limited open availability in my schedule. Please reach out if you’re interested in shoeing or trimming services!

Was the best weekend at the WFA contest!! Big thanks to Joe Nygren for judging and to everyone involved that helped put on the contest. Special thanks to Marcus for sharing his expertise during my live shoeing go and dealing with my shenanigans during the eagle eye run off. Laylah and I partnered up for our first two man draft class, which went better than expected. Ended up placing second in my division with a couple seconds and a fifth in the forging classes, third in the live shoeing, and won the eagle eye. This weekend was a great learning experience with a great group of people. Excited for the next one!
