Important Pet Medication Recall

We want to make sure our clients are aware of a recent veterinary medication recall that may affect your pets.
Wedgewood Pharmacy LLC is voluntarily recalling nearly 4,000 compounded veterinary medications due to potential potency issues. The affected products were shipped nationwide between February 18, 2026, and October 6, 2026, to veterinary practices, pharmacies, and other customers. The recall includes various medications in forms such as powders, pastes, oral suspensions, injectables, ophthalmic ointments and solutions, ear solutions, topical sprays, and gels.

What does this mean for you and your pet?
If your pet is currently taking a compounded medication from Wedgewood Pharmacy, please check whether it's included in the recall. You can find the complete list of affected products, including lot numbers and expiration dates, here:
https://www.wedgewood.com/recall-lookup/

If your pet is on any recalled medications, we'll contact you. We know how important your pet's health and well-being are to you. If you have questions or concerns about a medication your pet is taking, please give our team a call. We're happy to help you understand what this means for your pet and determine any next steps.

Please don't stop or change your pet's prescribed medication without first speaking with your veterinarian.

Your pet's health and safety will always be our priority.

Lacey- Vet Assistant💖

Last, but certainly not least for our vet assistant team, we have Lacey ✨🍓

Lacey has been with the Cleveland Park Greer family from the very beginning. She started working in the veterinary ER back in 2016 and moved in into our GP practice in 2024! She started with us as a receptionist, and decided to join the patient care team about a year later! Not only does this girl have a big heart (especially for the bully breeds) but has an even bigger sense of humor (I mean, have you SEEN our Tik Tok🤣). You can find Lacey snuggling up with the friendly puppies and kittens, making everyone laugh, and working hard to provide the gold standard of care for our patients 💕

We love all the fun, support, and hard work Lacey provides for our hospital, from our clients to our team. Thank you Lacey for all you do!

BRITT - Veterinary Assistant 🩺🐾💜
We’ve had the pleasure of working with Britt since June of this year but it feels like she’s been a part of the family since the beginning. She began her career working in shelter medicine as a kennel tech about 10 years ago and then worked animal control for a little bit after that! She’s a wonderful advocate for all of the pets we see and always makes the nervous ones feel comfortable with her gentle demeanor. She works hard and keeps this hospital tidy and organized! We appreciate all of your support, silliness, and dedication to us and all of the fur babies. Thank you for all you do!! 💚🐱

Continuing on with Vet tech week recognitions! 🐕 💖

MICHELLE - Veterinary Assistant 🩺🩵🐾
Clients from our Greer AND Greenville location have seen Michelle around for almost 5 years! She’s been with us at Greer full-time to be closer to home and her adorable 3 year old daughter. She started her career as a volunteer in high school and has been doing it for over 20 years now. Michelle is one of our fastest performers and her confidence rubs off on all of us everyday. We appreciate her dedication and loyalty. Thank you for all of your hard work! 🩵

With the candy bowl filling up, a quick reminder for pet families.

Chocolate, xylitol, and raisins are all dangerous for pets, and candy wrappers can cause problems of their own. Keep the stash somewhere your pet cannot reach, and remind the kids to do the same.

If your pet gets into something they should not, call us right away at (864) 831-0102.

Happy Vet Tech appreciation week! 🥳🎉

We want to take a moment and thank all of our amazing vet techs and assistants this week! Starting with one of our leaders of CPAH Greer, Landon!

LANDON - Lead Veterinary Assistant 🩶🩺🐾🕷️
Many of you have seen this familiar face at the hospital. Landon has been working with animals since he could walk! His career first began in large animal and exotics, taking care of the cows, horses, goats, chickens….you name it! His knowledge is very broad and he can tell you almost any drug calculation off the top of his head. He is one of the biggest supporters we all have at CPAH Greer and is phenomenally dedicated to the organization of the team with top tier patient care. We all love Landon and couldn’t run this without him or his support. Thank you for ALL that you do! We see you & we appreciate your hard working dedication.

It is National Veterinary Technician Week and our techs are the heart of this place.

They comfort nervous patients, monitor anesthesia, are your lab-work technicians, surgical nurses, dental hygienists, and somehow still find a way to make everyone feel cared for, pets and people alike. We would be lost without them.

Have a tech here who has taken great care of your pet? Name them in the comments so we can pass it along.

Happy Global Cat Day to every cat and the people who serve them.

Cats are famously good at acting like nothing is wrong, even when something is. That quiet toughness is exactly why regular checkups matter so much for them, indoor cats included.

If it has been a while since your cat's last visit, call us at (864) 831-0102!

Today is Pet Obesity Awareness Day, and it is a good reminder that those extra treats add up.

Carrying extra weight makes everyday movement harder on your pet and can affect their comfort and energy over time. The encouraging part is that small changes to food, portions, and activity really do make a difference.

Not sure where your pet stands? Call us to schedule a weight check and a nutritional consultation!
