I know we have not been staying up to date on some of our social media. Many of you are aware, some of you are not, Richard unexpectedly passed on April 8th 2024. He was not only my cousin and business partner, but my best friend. He was more like a brother to me than a cousin. He was a mentor not only to me but to many others.
That being said I have been having a very hard time coping with the loss. I have been struggling mentally with the loss a lot more than I have let on.
Naptown Reptiles is still up and going and this year I decided not to breed a lot but to breed ones Richard would have bred.. we all know he was a big mahogany fan. And I have had to take the knowledge I learned from him and research further to become remotely close to what he knew about the gene.
This year we bred a mahogany cinnamon to a banana mahogany female maker. Richard would have been head over heels for what we got.
