 R.I.P. Abby.
Sadly, Abby passed away today. She was involved in a crime where she was stolen from Monkey Island many years ago. We eventually got her back. She has lived out her life here for the last 15 years. She was 30 years old. She acted fine yesterday. And went and climbed in her bed with a blanket. And passed away in her sleep.

This is a picture of Suzanne. Holding Abby‘s hand after she had came back from a criminal theft, where she was stolen with two other monkeys. many years ago.

Suzanne greeting Abby. After Abby's return to Monkey Island after being stolen for over a year. A Happy Reunion.

Greenwood Eagles lose another nest in 2026
In 2017 this Eagle lost his nest. We had a pole 100feet high with cameras filming them. We built a nest on top of the camera pole. And put the baby eagle up in it. It was an awesome experience to deal with such a unique animal.
This pair of eagles seem to be having a hard time keeping a nest in this area. Three times they’ve lost their nest. 2 times with babies in it.

A Greenwood, Missouri man's attempt to save a baby eagle could be a game changer for protecting wildlife.

A girl walking home in Lopburi, Thailand, recently went viral after being photographed carrying an airsoft toy to deter monkeys known for stealing food. Lopburi is famous for its large population of free-roaming monkeys, which often interact closely with residents and visitors, sometimes creating challenges during everyday routines.

According to local reports, the girl, identified as Noey, explained that she was tired of losing her snacks to the monkeys. Rather than causing harm, she carried the airsoft toy simply to scare them away, using it as a visual deterrent to protect herself and her belongings on the walk home.

The photo, taken by a wildlife photographer, quickly spread online and sparked conversation about how communities adapt to living alongside animals. It offered a glimpse into the creative and practical ways locals in Lopburi manage coexistence with the city’s famous monkey population.
