This past weekend I had the pleasure to join Shanetta Brown with Shreveport Green to be one of 4 guest panelists to discuss and share my perspective of Farming while Black. It was encouraging to be the youngest up on the panel to see these elders before me and their combined experience. This past weekend, I had the pleasure of joining Shreveport Green and Shanetta Brown as one of four guest panelists for a powerful conversation on **Farming While Black**.

I was honored to share my perspective, my journey, and my experiences as a farmer. Being the youngest person on the panel was truly inspiring — sitting alongside elders who have poured years of wisdom, dedication, and love into this work reminded me of the importance of honoring those who came before us while continuing to grow the future of farming.

I left encouraged, grateful, and even more committed to the work of growing, listening, and creating space for the next generation of farmers. 🌱✨
