Update on our brave boy, Gibbs. 🐾As many of you know, Gibbs recently had a major ear surgery (a TECA-BO) to remove a cancerous tumor. While his external incisions healed up beautifully, we’ve hit a stressful roadblock. Lately, he’s been struggling with a droopy, gooey eye and green discharge from his nose.Because the major nerves controlling his face and eyes run directly past his middle ear, these symptoms usually point to nerve pressure or inflammation in that area. We are incredibly worried that his cancer may be acting up again or that a deep tissue issue has developed.Gibbs went to the vet today for a full assessment and will be spending the night at the clinic so the team can monitor him closely, run the necessary evaluations, and keep him comfortable. His foster, mommy Angel N Tina Huerta is going to miss him terribly tonight. Our hearts are heavy, but we know he is in the best possible hands. Please keep Gibbs in your thoughts tonight. ❤️

Who knew storm season could be so cozy? ⛈️🐾 Rosie our alumni, is digging her storm accommodations! She’s currently holding down the fort from the bathroom—the ultimate safe space. The best part? She gets premium, uninterrupted cuddles with her favorite person. 💛☔️

🐾 Update on our brave little lady, Berry! 🐾Our sweet girl had a big day at the vet. She went in this morning for an eye removal, but she was a little superwoman and also had a major dental! 🦷✨ Poor Berry had 10 teeth removed due to painful fractures and exposed polyps, but she handled it all like a total champ.The surgery went perfectly, and she is currently resting up and recovering comfortably. She’ll be coming back home to the rescue tomorrow morning to get all the extra cuddles and pampering she deserves.
🥰Because senior care and major surgeries like Berry’s add up quickly, we need your help! 💖 We want to make sure Berry—and all our other rescue babies—get the absolute best medical care. If you can help us cover her surgery costs, any donation big or small makes a huge difference!

Tomorrow, our rescue's little Min Pin, Berry, goes in for her life-changing eye removal (enucleation) surgery. Poor Berry is completely blind, and her atrophied eyes are causing her constant, agonizing pain that feels like grit to her. We are doing this so she can finally live out her days comfortably and without pain.Because we are a rescue, the medical costs are a heavy burden. We are reaching out to our amazing community to help cover her surgical expenses and recovery care. No amount is too small, and every single share brings us closer to giving Berry the relief she so desperately deserves. We hate to ask, but please consider donating or sharing her story.

🐾🐾 The results are in! 🥁 🥁🥁
After 3 months of guessing, we finally know exactly what our sweet rescue is made of.

Turns out our boy Theo is a mashup of German Shepherd(46%) Doberman(28%), Rottweiler(12%), Golden retriever(12%) and then just 1% of Bohemian Shepherd Dog and 1% of Saarlos Wolf Dog,
and absolutely 100% pure chaos and love! ❤️🐶 We love him even more now that we know all his little quirks. Mutts really do make the best dogs!"
This sweet, adorable naughty puppy is almost 7 months and is looking for his perfect forever home. Fenced in yard a must.

MILLIE 🩷 Reunited and it feels so good!

Her family was overcome with tears. They feel very fortunate to have her back with them and look forward to the many happy years! Since she was recently adopted from HB4P they will be keeping an extra close eye on her and helping her to learn that their home, is her new home. 🏡

Millie checked out surprisingly well at the vet clinic. 🙌 She had a thorough examination with imaging. She has some slight limping from a small ligament / tendon tear, will be taking it easy for the next couple of weeks and then go for a recheck, if the limping continues. If you recall, she was pending euthanasia and rescued with severe injuries -broken legs...after being hit by a car earlier this year.
