OFA tested w/CHIC, DNA tested for CKCSID, DM, DMD, BCAN, & MCADD, MRI tested for CM, SM & PSOM

Always striving to produce the healthiest Cavaliers we can for performance and in the home🐾 Using the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club (UK) as a guide, we do MRI testing to rule out Syrinomyelia and extreme Chiari Malformation in both sire and dam before they are bred. We also get yearly eye and heart clearances by OFA specialists, and OFA clearances on hips and patella.

The Bark Rangers turned 3 weeks old today! They were able to slowly experience outside and the grass with this nice warm weather! Their favorite toy has been a Leap Frog caterpillar where all the little legs make different sounds when they play with them❤️

The Bark Rangers Litter turns 2 weeks old today! Eyes are open, and everyone is starting to get up on those little legs! All the kiddos are doing great, and Mama Magnolia is also doing great!❤️

Happy 1 Week to our Bark Rangers!🌄

All have been gaining nicely, and I’m slowly getting a little more sleep at night. They are all doing great! Time to bring on week 2!🏔️

I am excited to announce a litter coming mid August between Buddington Cavalier’s Regi and our girl Magnolia! This will be Magnolia’s retirement litter

Both parents have been:

-MRI tested for: PSOM, Syringomyelia and Chiari Malformation

-DNA tested for: dry eye curly coat syndrome, episodic falling syndrome, MCADD, degenerative myelopathy

-OFA Tests: eyes, patella, hips and hearts (with clear echocardiograms within the past year)

Phoenix and C***r had a great first ISC event at the Star Spangled ISC Cup held at Purina Farms! This was also my first bigger ISC event, so I was not expecting for us to have many clean runs as we did. Both girls gave it their all, and I’m proud of them both❤️

One thing I love to do with my dogs is do a fun FEO/NFC run when we are competing in agility trials, especially with my young dogs. I am very thankful for Zach Browning Photography who captured a perfect photo of C***r’s FEO run at the local AKC trial last weekend. The judge was laughing and told me at the end of the trial he loved seeing C***r so happy and animated in that FEO run. Did she need that run? No, she was qualifying in her open and premier runs at her young age, but there does come a day when we look back on our dog’s sporting career and would take back every qualifying run we ever had to have more time with them. This time is precious to me and my dogs, especially to see them be able to relax, take the tension off, and just be a dog with their person without the stress to qualify. Let yourself and your dog enjoy your time together❤️

Great news this morning from our local OFA clinic! Magnolia (5.5 yr) and Vida (3yr) both passed their OFA echocardiograms with flying colors! Now onto Vida’s MRI in Virginia next month! 🤞🏼

We will be looking forward to one more litter with Magnolia this year before she is retired from breeding with an awesome boy who is also DNA, OFA & MRI tested with a clear echo! I’m not sure when our next litter will be, so if you are interested in a sporty puppy or pet puppy, please feel free to reach out to me.
