I’d like to take a second to introduce our newest team member/groomer Kristie! We are so excited to have her join us! She starts with us next week!

Here’s a little bit from her!

“I recently relocated to Greenwood, Indiana, from Anchorage, Alaska, in September to be closer to family and begin an exciting new chapter.

Animals have been a lifelong passion of mine, and I’ve been fortunate to build my career around caring for them. My journey began managing a small mom and pop pet store in Soldotna, Alaska, before becoming an Animal Control Officer for both the Cities of Kenai and Soldotna. I spent 13 years in animal control, gaining valuable experience and deepening my love for animals.

Seven years ago, while living in Anchorage, I discovered my passion for pet grooming. What started as a new adventure quickly grew into a true calling, eventually leading me to open and operate my own successful grooming salon.

When I’m not working with animals, you’ll likely find me spending time with my three dogs: two Standard Schnauzers and a Papillon-Poodle mix. One of my favorite activities is competing in FastCAT trials with my youngest Schnauzer!

Caring for animals has always been more than a career to me; it’s a way of life. I can’t imagine my world without them, and Schnauzers will always have an extra special place in my heart. I’m excited for this new chapter in Greenwood and look forward to continuing to do what I love most with the Bark at the Moon team: making a difference in the lives of pets and the people who love them.”
