Some horses leave hoofprints far bigger than they ever realized.

It was time to say goodbye to Star. She carried so much more than riders — she carried connection, trust, healing, and moments that mattered deeply to so many.

Star was part of our Therapeutic Riding Program, helped build connection with veterans, and participated in our Horse Powered Reading program, touching the lives of countless individuals along the way. Her quiet presence, patience, and heart helped people feel safe, seen, and supported.

We are incredibly thankful for the years we had with her and for all the lives she helped change. The impact she made will continue far beyond her time here.

Run free, sweet girl. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered. 🤍🐴

Meet Mike!

Mike is one of our mental health providers here at Strides, and even though he has only been with us for a few months, he has already made such a positive impact on our team and the people we serve.

He brings a calm, caring presence, a genuine heart for helping others, and a passion for making people feel seen, supported, and understood. We’re so grateful to have him as part of the Strides family and excited for the continued impact he will make here.
