And... Fundraiser #2!!!! We are going to do a 30 prizes in 30 days raffle in September! We are asking that every family contribute a raffle prize, $20-$30 value and then sell a few raffle tickets. Each prize will be assigned a day on the September calendar. And each ticket will have 30 chances to win! If your ticket is drawn it will be reentered to win again! It is a super fun raffle with LOTS of opportunity to win. Prizes can vary, gift cards, small baskets, local business donations, artwork... lots of choices, and really does not need to be horsey as most people participating will not be horse people. We need prizes by August 22nd please so that we can get a calendar together. I will have raffle tickets available for pick up as SOON as they come in (projected Thursday). If everyone sells just a few we can get lots done at the farm!!!!

Ok Horsepower family, we are going to try 2 fundraisers here in the next few weeks. We are going to try a 30 prizes in 30 days in September (more info to come) but right now we have the opportunity to serve at the DEC (Delaware Electric Co-op) annual meeting dinner at the Harrington Ice rink. We need 20 people to come out Tuesday the 16th between 2 and 7 and serve drinks and food. This is a FIRM committment!!! Fundraiser money will be applied to ring and driveway fixes and other general repairs and upgrades. Please sign up on the comments. We need at least 20 of us! Boys and I make 3! Let's get 20!!!

What a horse show! THANK YOU to all the exhibitors who came to show! It was so much fun! None of it would be possible without the wonderful families who support and help me! Harry Montgomery and Annett Cole thank you so much for announcing, the PA system was a challenge and you managed it! Laurie Moorman, Sandy Satterfield and Vicky Love thank you for being the BEST face for our exhibitors, your smiles mean everything to them. Ken Montgomery you smiled through a hot sunny gate post and your friendly self made all the difference! Heather Taylor you rocked the judging gig! And thank you to Amy Drake Daspit as well! She kept the ring moving! Haley Reynolds, as always was indespensable! Points are DONE and the kids all made it to the ring on time! Seriously, I have no idea how she does it! And the kids and trainers who jump crewed were fantastic, thank you. Tracy Rothermel, today it was stitches and overheated children, and you handled it with grace! All the behind the scenes help this week was incredible. NEXT GEN landscaping got the rings all trimmed up, and Roger Satterfield, your 6 hours on a mower was an incredible help and the farm looks GREAT! All the kids and parents who came out this week to lend a hand were truly the difference makers in pulling this off! And Aston, Jack and Nick Hudson, as usual you were amazing. This farm would not run without you! Thank you ALL and if there is anyone I am forgetting, let me know!!!!
