We had a few hours between appointments and the rain yesterday to get a few out that needed some outside miles.

Since this would be their first time outside with us. We started the day with these two in the arena making sure their fresh was off.

Cruze and Alani did great on the trail. They packed horn bags, tolerated the rain and thunder, got used to crossing water and their feet sinking in the mud, and broke a nice huge sweat before going back to the trailer.

We absolutely love and require a good handle in the arena first and foremost, but these are the kind of days that will get a horse’s mind in the right place before they go to their new homes.

Side note: remind us next time to bring a rain jacket. Wet jeans feel gross. 🤮

Here’s one a little different looking/moving for you!

4 year old Mythic is heading home this week after a 45 day restart. He has some riding on him in his younger years but decided to lawn dart his owner a few times after coming back from vacation.

He’s heading home just in time to take a big fall trail ride. 🍂🍁

💙💛💙💛Coming soon! 💙💛💙💛

2019 AQHA blue roan gelding that had been a dream on the trails and down the road. Nice WTL in the arena but is more woah than go. Sit and take your legs off and he will tuck his butt and stop. Enjoys cattle. He’s a cool little ranch horse type and also will drop his head and babysit a beginner down the trails.

SOLD:
We have 2020 grade palomino that is fancy broke)and will trail ride great, has been ridden by kids, bridles etc. He has been a gentlemen in the arena and on the trails and down the road. Pretty WTL. Has been on cattle as well.
To all of you that have reached out in the past few months looking for a solid young flashy gelding that will take care of you, these are for you. We’ve had mostly young horses lately that we’ve spent the time on this summer, but after a few more weeks of softening and going through the motions to work out any kinks these two will be ready.

Sorry - can’t keep up with everyone individually that is looking but I know we have quite a few looking for nice new trail horses.

Let’s hear it for ReyGin Dually aka Tank aka Tanklin.

The cattle were TOUGH today but we had a couple runs rolling that just didn’t get in the money.

Happy to be getting along with this big ole gelding though! 🖤

Don’t tell him he’s 15.2 and isn’t supposed to move like that. You’ll hurt his feelings.
