United K9 Ragnar is still working hard! You have to give him a crutch as he is a Pointer lol just kidding. We are still working with him to become a Bed Bug Detection Dog and he is making great progress every day. His drive and focus are taking him far in his training and we are excited to see how he develops.

🇺🇸🐾 United K9 Ziva has made incredible progress and is on a journey to make a difference in our founder’s life.

Back in 2023, our founder, Craig R. Hanna, experienced a heartbreaking loss when United K9 Elektra, the Belgian Malinois who inspired the creation of United K9, passed away. Elektra was more than a dog—she was purpose, passion, and the foundation of what became the United K9 brand.

In the midst of that grief, a client reached out. They could no longer keep their German Shepherd, Fendi, due to life changes. At first, Craig said no—his heart was still healing. But when she boarded at United K9, her goofy personality and undeniable spirit began to shine through.

That German Shepherd is now United K9 Ziva. ❤️ She knows she can never replace Elektra, but she has carved her own place in Craig’s life and in the United K9 story. Her journey reminds us all that healing can come when you least expect it—and sometimes the right dog finds you.

Meet Pepper.

Pepper came to United K9 for a 35-Day Board and Train focusing on Behavioral Modification. She can be a little too protective of her family and has shown some aggressive tendencies.

The great news is she has already made major progress. With consistency, structure, and clear guidance, Pepper is learning how to be calm and confident while still being the loyal protector she was meant to be.

We are proud of the hard work Pepper is putting in and will continue working with her every step of the way.
