🐾 Foster Alert: Meet Pickles! 🥒✨

Look at this sweet face! This is Pickles, a gorgeous 10-month-old female Great Dane who is new to MAGDRL and on the hunt for a foster home while she continues her journey to finding her forever family.

Despite her giant breed puppy size, Pickles is a total sweetheart with a lot of amazing qualities:
Smart Cookie: She is currently hard at work mastering her basic training! 🎓

Social Butterfly: She gets along wonderfully and plays well with other dogs. 🐕

Pure Love: She's a gentle giant who is eager to learn and ready to snuggle. ❤️

Could you open your heart and home to Pickles? Fostering saves lives and helps her put her best paw forward!

📩Head to our website and fill out an adoption application if you are interested in fostering Pickles! https://www.magdrl.org/volunteering/fostering-a-magdrl-great-dane/

Please share to help her find her foster family! 🙏🏡

🚫 Why Pets Are Not Permitted — Friendly Reminder
We love animals, and we know many of you consider pets part of the family. That said, pets are not permitted at the Mushroom Festival.

This policy is in place for a few important reasons:
With large crowds, food vendors, and tight walkways, the environment can become overwhelming and unsafe for animals. Even well-behaved pets can become stressed in busy, loud settings. It also helps us maintain a safe, comfortable experience for all guests, especially those with allergies, fears, or mobility needs.

We also want to make sure emergency access routes stay clear and that the event remains accessible for everyone attending.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping keep the festival safe, comfortable, and enjoyable for the entire community.

Thank you for helping us take care of each other.

🦴 C*D MAY DO MORE THAN EASE ARTHRITIS PAIN... IT MAY ALSO HELP SUPPORT THE JOINT ITSELF.

A new 2026 peer-reviewed systematic review and meta-analysis published in Pain Research and Management looked at 26 studies on cannabinoids and osteoarthritis, including five randomized placebo-controlled studies in dogs with naturally occurring arthritis.

When the dog studies were combined, C*D significantly reduced arthritis pain severity, with studies also reporting improvements in mobility and quality of life.

But what really caught our attention was what researchers found happening inside the joint. Preclinical research suggests cannabinoids may:

🔥 Reduce inflammatory signals
🛡️ Reduce cartilage-destroying enzymes
🦴 Support cartilage-building proteins like type II collagen
🐕 Support more comfortable movement

And type II collagen is especially interesting to us because it’s the primary collagen found in joint cartilage and the reason we included UC-II® undenatured type II collagen in Mobility Matrix™.

For pet parents who don’t have access to C*D, Dr. Karen Becker formulated Mobility Matrix™ to support joint health and mobility through multiple pathways, with ingredients including UC-II® undenatured type II collagen, eggshell membrane, creatine, glucosamine, MSM, and hyaluronic acid to support cartilage, connective tissue, muscles, and comfortable movement. 🐾
