We believe some of the most meaningful moments happen when people come together with open hearts, willing hands, and a love for horses and children. 💛🐴

At Sun Horse Ranch, our volunteers are an important part of creating a safe, encouraging, and joyful environment where children can build confidence, strength, communication, and independence.

We are now welcoming new volunteers ages 13 and older to join our team!

Our next in-person volunteer training is October 3rd at 3:00 PM.

Whether you have years of horse experience or simply a desire to learn, help, and make a difference—we would love to meet you.

✨ Many ways to help. One powerful impact.

Sometimes learning begins with a game — and grows through connection.

During this Move & Match™ session, a child on the autism spectrum worked alongside a PATH-certified equine mental health specialist and a speech-language pathologist, combining communication, movement, problem-solving, and interaction in a playful, meaningful way.

This is the spirit behind Rein & Reach™ — our upcoming year-round interdisciplinary program at Sun Horse Ranch, bringing professionals together around the individual needs of each child.

Different specialists. One team. One child at the center.

Rein & Reach™ — coming soon.

The program is being developed to bring together Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy in a unique ranch setting where horses, purposeful movement, and outdoor experiences can support each child’s individual goals.
