Sometimes learning begins with a game — and grows through connection.

During this Move & Match™ session, a child on the autism spectrum worked alongside a PATH-certified equine mental health specialist and a speech-language pathologist, combining communication, movement, problem-solving, and interaction in a playful, meaningful way.

This is the spirit behind Rein & Reach™ — our upcoming year-round interdisciplinary program at Sun Horse Ranch, bringing professionals together around the individual needs of each child.

Coming Soon: REIN & REACH™

Sun Horse Ranch is excited to introduce the concept for REIN & REACH™, a new year-round equine-assisted therapy program for children.

The program is being developed to bring together Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy in a unique ranch setting where horses, purposeful movement, and outdoor experiences can support each child’s individual goals.

REIN & REACH™ is planned to be offered twice monthly throughout the year.

Dance Lessons every Tuesday from 10 am to noon at Clip-Clop Haven Studio on Sun Horse Ranch.

EquiRitmo® brings the structure of line dance together with the energy and rhythm of Latin American music. Participants follow easy-to-learn choreographed steps and patterns while moving to lively Latin beats.

It’s line dancing with a Latin twist—combining coordination, rhythm, movement, and fun in a unique EquiRitmo® experience.

Today, we say goodbye to one of the greatest horsemen of our time.

Monty Roberts taught me that horsemanship is not about strength—it is about understanding. His philosophy of working with horses through trust, patience, and soft hands has inspired generations around the world.

When our mini mule was born, I named him Monty in his honor. Every time I call my little mule’s name, I am reminded of the kindness, respect, and partnership that Monty Roberts dedicated his life to teaching.

Thank you, Monty Roberts, for leaving the horse world better than you found it.

Your legacy lives on—in every gentle hand, every trusting horse, and every person who chooses compassion over force.❤️🐴❤️
