I’m so thankful to all of the local businesses who have donated prizes, agreed to help judge, and supported this little contest from the beginning. It’s been so much fun putting it all together, and I can’t wait to see even more submission roll in!

And remember, all proceeds from the contest go to the Humane Society. Don’t have a pet or a costume but still want to support us? We are accepting donations through the same form!

🐾🌈 In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Matriarch 🌈🐾

20 Years of Love, Loyalty, and Paw Prints on Our Hearts ❤️

Today, the Fluffy Puppy family says goodbye to someone incredibly special.

For 20 beautiful years, she graced this world with her presence, and for so many of those years, she was a familiar face and a cherished part of our everyday lives at the salon.

She wasn’t just an employee’s dog. She was our matriarch, our little old lady, and the heart of our four-legged family.

She came to work faithfully, watched over the younger pups, kept everyone in line in her own special way, and reminded us that sometimes the best part of a busy day is simply having a familiar friend by your side.

She witnessed countless wagging tails, puppy shenanigans, busy grooming days, laughter, and love. Through it all, she had her place among us.

She celebrated holidays with us, dressed up for pictures, shared beds with her furry friends, and made the salon feel a little more like home.

Twenty years is an extraordinary gift, but somehow, even that doesn’t feel like enough.

There will be an empty spot where she used to rest, a familiar little face missing from our daily routine, and a silence that only those who loved her will understand.

To her mama, thank you for sharing your precious girl with us. She may have belonged to you, but she became a part of all of us. We were lucky to have her as our honorary coworker, our senior supervisor, and the queen of our pack.

Run free, sweet girl. 🌈🐾

May your legs be young again, your bed always be soft, and your days be filled with sunshine, treats, and endless love.

Your shift here on earth is over, sweetheart. You can finally rest.

At Fluffy Puppy, we’re passionate about helping pets look and feel their best! Our salon provides top-quality grooming services in a fun, safe, and caring environment. We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Pet Stylist Assistant to join our grooming team.
Position Overview
The Pet Stylist Assistant supports groomers by preparing pets for grooming and ensuring the salon operates smoothly. This entry-level position is perfect for someone who loves animals and is interested in pursuing a career in pet grooming.
Responsibilities
• Bathe and dry dogs and cats before styling
• Brush, detangle, and prep pet coats for cutting
• Safely handle pets of all sizes and temperaments
• Clean grooming stations, tubs, and tools
• Assist groomers with lifting, restraining, or task setup
• Maintain a calm, professional environment for pets and clients
• Support front desk with check-ins, scheduling, and client communication as needed
Qualifications
• Genuine love and compassion for animals
• Experience working with pets (professional or personal) preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to hygiene and safety standards
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
