Shh 🤫 Lacy Mae didn’t get the memo that she’s 9 years old!
This girl is still so spunky!!
Lacy LOVES play time! Any toy that makes a crinkle noise makes her tail wag for hours!
She looks forward to her short strolls outside, lounging in the grass, oh and anytime she gets to spend with you! ❤️
Lacy is the perfect addition to any household with or without dogs. This girl knows all the tricks, and is fully potty trained!
We can’t say enough great things about this senior girlie!
To apply for her, go to strayhavenanimalshelter.com!

Martha Jefferson has found her way back to us. 😞
Martha is a 1 year old cat who came in with the 3 presidents. This loving lady is about as sweet as they come! She loves to curl up on your lap and purr. Martha is also very playful and follows her people everywhere.
Martha would do best in a home with no other pets! She has so much love to give though!

To apply for her, go to strayhavenanimalshelter.com

❗Viewer Discretion➡️ Surgical Post ❗

🐈‍⬛$5 Tabitha Tuesday!! 🐈‍⬛

We have been caring for a very sweet little girl we've named Tabitha. She was brought in by a good samaritan when she was found with her deceased mom. It is so heart breaking when these things happen, but unfortunately it is the reality of a lot of the animals out there.

We believe Tabitha was hit by a car, and it caused her eye to become damaged to the point of it needing to be surgically removed. Her other eye is still healing, it currently has adhesions from an untreated chronic upper respiratory infection she suffered while a stray and a young kitten. Her eye may never have normal vision - yet she is still a spunky girl!

We are asking for help with her vet bill as a nonprofit the help of our supporters is what allows us to continue to rescue animals, like Tabitha who are in need.

💵A donation can be made via PayPal (using [email protected]) Venmo ()

Thank you for your continued support! 🫶🏻

Meet Angel 🪽

Angel is a 5 year old longhaired kitty who was surrendered to us because her owner passed away.
She is a very sweet kitty who loves pets! Because she’s so new to the shelter, she might be a little nervous when you meet her, but as soon as the churus come out, she melts into you!
Angel has lived with other kitties in the past and did well!
We hope Angels stay here is short, as she’s only ever known the comforts of a home with lots of love!
To apply for her, go to strayhavenanimalshelter.com!

Laila was on a home visit, but it didn’t work out. 🥺
The family said she was absolutely perfect, she just wanted to chase their kitty cat. With that being said, Laila would do best in a home with no cats. She is dog friendly though!
Laila is a 2 year old happy heeler mix with the best personality and even better ears! Just look how big they are!!

She becomes friends with everyone she meets, loves toys, and is potty trained! This girl is move in ready!

To apply for this purebred good girl, go to strayhavenanimalshelter.com!

Meet Troy 🐾

Troy is a 3 year old beagle who came in as a stray and was unfortunately never claimed.
This little man is very shy when he first meets you. He has to sniff you and collect all evidence that you do in fact have soft treats and you will give him ALL of them, before he comes out of shell!
The nice lady here gave him a cozy blanket today and he took it to a corner of his kennel and made the perfect little nest. If he could, he would carry his blankie everywhere! He also has learned that peanut butter is in fact the best snack ever!
Troy is dog friendly and would love a friend to help with his confidence!
To apply for this sweetheart, go to strayhavenanimalshelter.com!

Miss Brandy is enjoying a warm blanket and some quiet time this morning. 🐈‍⬛
Brandy is a 5 year old queen looking for her very own castle! She would love a taste of the finer things in life such as wet food on tap, windows with a great view of nature, and all the warm blankets one has to offer!
Brandy is currently our longest cat resident. She prefers to not share her palace with any other kitties. She simply wants you all to her self!
If Brandy sounds like the perfect fit for you, go to strayhavenanimalshelter.com and apply today!

Brandy can’t wait to have her very own royal throne!

🏃‍♀️🐾DON'T PAWS, RUN!🐾🏃‍♂️

It's spooky season, which our black cat loves. We love that Dr. Charles (now Doc) found a home as well! But that doesn't mean that we're done. In fact, with it being spooky season, Michael Myers is ready to kill you... with cuddles! Michael is always having a spooky good time with his toys and he loves to play with the other kittens too!

He and so many other animals are looking for their forever homes, and if you can't open your home to them, you can support them by attending the Strayhaven Animal Shelter Run (or Walk) For The Paws tomorrow, October 10 at 10am in Greenville at Riverside Park. This great event helps support those who provide care for the animals who need a little extra help while they wait for adoption.

We're proud to partner with Strayhaven on this cause, and we hope that you'll come out to walk or run, then come support ACTS the same day as we partner with another great Greenville group, the Greenville Symphony Orchestra, for Celebrate 250, an all-American concert. The shows kicks off at 3:00 in Passavant Center. Let's make it a great day in Greenville!

And if you want to die laughing and have a fun end to the spooky season, come see our black cat in action in The Edgar Allan Poe Afterlife Radio Show at ACTS PAC in our 40 Below venue! Shows are October 30 & 31, November 1, 6, 7, and 8. More information at our web site https://www.actspac.org

Thank you for supporting our great community!
