I value quality over quantity and am committed to making every day the best day for your pet. Red Barn Pet Haven was created from both personal experience and professional insight. After years of managing large franchise dog boarding facilities, I saw firsthand what really happens behind closed doors — too many dogs, too few staff, and not enough individual attention or comfort. I also know the feeling of wanting to travel but being unable to leave because you don’t fully trust anyone to care for your pets the way you do. That’s why I started Red Barn Pet Haven — to give pet parents true peace of mind. Here, your dogs are never left alone for long hours, never scared or isolated in a kennel, and never overwhelmed in a noisy, crowded environment. You’ll see the difference the moment you pick them up — relaxed, happy, and excited to see you, not desperate to leave. every single pet will receive individualized care and enrichment. They will be treated like family, because they are family here.

Can't believe we are already talking about the holidays but here we are. We hate to see the summer go, but welcome the fall activities and the upcoming holidays.

Please book your holiday reservations as soon as possible. We hate having to turn away our loyal clients and want to ensure that we can accommodate your pups during the hectic holidays.

We have lots of great things planned for the dogs over the holidays and you don't want them to miss out on their holiday photos, crafts (they may even make you something special!), and holiday paw art!

Sunset is always beautiful here and it's our favorite time of the day. The pups are peacefully tired from their day filled with playtime, enrichment, trail walks and adventures.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION — PLEASE READ 🐾

We understand that larger boarding and daycare facilities may allow clients to drop off or pick up at almost any time. Red Barn Pet Haven is intentionally different.

One of the biggest benefits of choosing a small, home-based facility is the personal care, attention, and quieter environment we’re able to provide each dog.

We also understand that every pet parent has different priorities when choosing where their dog stays or plays. Some families prefer the convenience and flexibility of a large facility. Our parents choose us because they are looking for a more personalized experience for their dog. We may not be the right fit for everyone—and that’s okay.

Red Barn Pet Haven was created because we wanted dogs to have a safe, comfortable place to stay where they are never overwhelmed, overlooked, or treated like just another number. Here, we know how your dog likes their pillow fluffed, what enriches them, scares them, and what brings them joy.

To provide that level of care, scheduled arrival and departure times are necessary. Each part of our day is planned around the dogs in our care—including feeding, medications, potty breaks, playtime, rest periods, cleaning, grooming, and individual attention. When there is an arrival/departure, we bring all the dogs inside and secure them. When people show up early or significantly late, we are either scrambling to put dogs away or they are stuck inside waiting until someone shows up.

Unscheduled or significantly changed arrival and pickup times can interrupt routines and take our attention away from the dogs already in our care.

This is why we ask that scheduled drop-off and pickup times be respected.

It isn’t about making things inconvenient for our clients. It’s about protecting the calm, structured environment and personal level of care that Red Barn Pet Haven was created to provide.
