It’s going to be another scorcher. Heatstroke can happen fast and it’s an emergency.

Know the warning signs: excessive panting or difficulty breathing, bright red or pale gums, drooling more than normal, weakness, lethargy or collapse, confusion, stumbling, or seizures.

Here are some tips from our friend Dr Adam Christman on the proper way to cool your pet down.

It’s hard to believe it has already been a year since Dr. Parenteau joined our team. In that time, she has touched the lives of countless pets and their families through her compassion, dedication and commitment to providing exceptional care.

Whether she’s helping a sick patient, celebrating a happy moment with a family or offering comfort during a difficult time, Dr. Parenteau always leads with kindness and empathy.
