Today we are spotlighting Pet First Aid resources from AVMA.org—because emergencies don’t wait, and preparedness saves lives.
Whether it’s a sudden injury, poisoning, or heatstroke, knowing what to do in those first moments can make all the difference. The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) offers a comprehensive Pet First Aid guide that every pet owner should have bookmarked or printed.

STAY SAFE, STAY PREPARED - your fur friends are counting on you!

First aid is not a substitute for veterinary care, but it may save your pet’s life until you can get to a veterinarian.
