Meet the beautiful Goldfish! This sweet girl is an absolute lovebug who adores people, loves dogs and kids, and has a heart bursting with affection. She loves to hug, give face kisses, snuggle close, and soak up all the human attention she can get. She has fun bursts of playful energy, but once she gets it out, she’s ready for tummy rubs, cuddles, and plenty of love.

Goldfish is a 2-year-old, 36-pound, full-grown mixed-breed female with a gorgeous brown-and-white coat. She enjoys playing with other dogs and has a more energetic play style, so if there’s an older dog in the home, they’ll need to be comfortable setting boundaries. She does well with older elementary-aged children and has not yet been around toddlers.

Goldfish is truly a fantastic dog! She shares her toys, walks well on a leash, does wonderfully in her kennel, and rides great in the car. She’s beautiful inside and out, playful, affectionate, cuddly, and ready to bring endless hugs, kisses, tail wags, and joy to her furever family!

Meowtini is a piebald tabby bundle of energy. Along with his litter mate Meowzart, he has two speeds. Full tilt boogie and sleep.

Like a tiny furry hockey player who can't stay out of the penalty box, Meowtini loves play fighting with the other kittens, especially his brother. So cute!

This spirited little one will furever amuse you with his antics. Highly recommend. Get one or even two for twice the fun!

She is good with kids and other dogs, although her puppy energy can sometimes be a bit much for a lower-energy dog. She'd do best with a playful canine friend who can keep up and set boundaries. Whitney loves meeting new people, isn't intimidated by bigger dogs, and walks nicely on a leash. And fair warning—this girl can be talkative! She loves to hear herself, so apartment living may not be best for her. When the zoomies are over, she's always ready for cuddles!

Whitney is a female Mixed-Breed puppy, born in April 2026, and expected to grow into a medium-sized dog. She's still a young pup with plenty to learn, including potty training. She's not potty trained yet, but she's already showing she's a quick learner—after just two nights in a weekend foster home, she was beginning to catch on!

We are Hiring!

Do you love animals, like people, and have the flexibility for the occasional surprise mess that comes with both?

SPCA of the Triad is looking for compassionate, dependable team members to join our Animal Care Team.

Available Shifts:
Saturday & Sunday: 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm (specifically in our dog area)
Tuesday - Friday: 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm (mostly dog area but some cross over)
We can be flexible for the right person

This isn't just a kennel job. Sure, you will help care for cats and dogs, but you will also work alongside volunteers, staff, adopters, and supporters to create happy endings for animals in need.

Think of it this way: part animal caretaker, part matchmaker.

One minute you are cleaning kennels and making sure our animals are happy and healthy. The next, you are helping a family meet their future best friend. There is nothing quite like watching an adoption happen and knowing you made it possible!

Animal care experience is preferred but not required. If you want to help, we can teach you!
