The last 6 weeks TVC has had the honor of hosting a UTM Veterinary Technician intern. Zoe Williams has been a blessing. She has loved on every animal that has walked though the door. I’m a little late posting the dog special for June. Buy 6 months of flea and tick prevention and get an extra $5 off. There is an additional manufacturer rebate making the product cheaper than the online retailers. More and more people are being diagnosed with alpha gal, Lyme disease, and other tick borne illnesses. Make sure you and your pet are protected this summer.

Have you seen or heard that Tennessee is experiencing a rise in "Bobcat Fever"? Bobcat fever is a tick borne disease that occurs after a tick bites a bobcat and contracts Cytauzoon felis, and then the infected tick bites your cat. Signs of this illness are vague at first, and then rapidly progress to death without treatment. Treatment is not always curative, either. The best treatment is prevention. For the month of June at TVC, we are offering $5.00 off a 6 month box of Nexgard Combo for cats. In addition, there is a virtual rebate through the manufacturer for $20 off a 6 month supply.
