Do you know me? I followed a kid home from a park. I must belong to someone! Fluffy tail. Pretty scared at the shelter but was very sweet with the family who found me.

We know it feels like we keep saying the same thing…

We’re full. We have no space. We need help.

But unfortunately, it continues to be true. Right now, we have no open adoption kennels for dogs or cats, and animals continue to need us.

We desperately need adopters and foster homes to help us create space for the next animal that comes through our doors. Even one adoption or one foster placement makes a difference.

If you’ve been thinking about adding a new pet to your family, now is the time to come meet them. ❤️

🐾 Come see us:
Today: before 4 PM
Thursday & Friday: 8 AM–4 PM
Saturday: 9 AM–2 PM

Please come walk through, meet our animals, and help us get some of these deserving pets out of kennels and into homes.

**Adopt. Foster. Share.** Every bit of help matters. 🐶🐱❤️

MEET MAXY!

Maxy came to the shelter after his mom found herself in an incredibly difficult situation. No matter what she tried, this determined boy kept managing to pull his tie-out from the ground. When a neighbor threatened to harm Maxy if he got loose again, his mom became afraid for his safety and made the heartbreaking decision to bring him to us.

And now, 57 days later, Maxy is still waiting. 💔

Maxy is 1.5 years old and a good boy with so much potential. He does well with other dogs and seems to especially love puppies. He has also lived with children! ❤️

Like many dogs, Maxy could use some help learning better manners and polishing up his skills, but underneath that enthusiasm and handsome face is a sweet dog who could fit into many different types of homes.

We are starting to see the early signs of kennel stress. Maxy needs a change of scenery before shelter life becomes even harder for him.
🏡 This sweet boy needs an adopter or foster home. Stop by to meet Maxy!

We have a really exciting opportunity to raise up to $6,000 for the animals at Greenfield Hancock Animal Management this Saturday, September 26! Capitol City Ford will be at the shelter from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a special fundraising event!

For every person age 18 or older who test drives a vehicle at the shelter, Ford will donate $30 to GHAM! That means you can help raise money for our shelter animals without spending a dime! All we need you to do is come out and take a test drive!

We need your help to make the most of this opportunity, so please consider stopping by and bring your adult family members and friends with you. Every eligible test drive gets us another $30 closer to our $6,000 goal!

You can register Saturday morning at the event or register online in advance.

Meet Berry. 🐾

Berry has been waiting 92 days for a home. He’s 6–7 years old, 66 pounds, loves people, does well with other dogs, and loves to snuggle. More than anything, he would love a family and a couch to call his own.

Sadly, Berry is struggling with shelter life. He’s losing weight from the stress, and the long days in the shelter are taking a toll on this sweet boy. He needs a place where he can relax, feel safe, and be close to people who love him.

Come meet Berry during our Drive 4 UR Community event benefiting Greenfield-Hancock Animal Management!
