🐶❤️ Meet Mr. Wells ❤️🐶

Last week sweet, dapper, Mr. Wells wasn’t feeling like his usual playful self, so his attentive owner took a closer look and discovered approximately 10 ticks attached to him. Concerned about how this young pup was feeling, they brought him to our clinic for evaluation.

Ticks are more than just a nuisance—they can transmit serious diseases, including Lyme disease, and cause discomfort. Early detection and prompt veterinary care are important, but prevention is even better.

Year-round flea and tick prevention is one of the best ways to protect your pet from parasites before they have a chance to cause problems. In addition to flea and tick prevention, here at Crawford we also offer the Lyme vaccine. Ask our team whether your dog is a good candidate for Lyme vaccination based on their lifestyle and risk of exposure.

We’re happy to report that Mr. Wells is getting the care he needs and is on his way to feeling better! 💙

How to prevent:
